I am turning 59 next month and I started shaving when I was 13. The men in my family have tough and fast-growing beards. Shaving has always been a crappy job with crappy results.... until I found Cremo Shaving Cream. Cremo has been a part of my routine now for about 4 years and I can't thank them enough for the incredible upgrade to my daily routine that they provide. Cremo goes on so smooth and lathers up beautifully. Just squeeze a small amount in your wet hands and lather it up and apply. It doesn't take much, so while this may seem pricier than the cheap crap you can buy, this will last as long and will give you a 10x better shave. After shaving, my face is smooth and clean and my wife loves the results. Yours will too. Pro shaving tips from 4 decades of shaving: Never shave upwards. When you do, you are pulling the hairs up and back and that causes them to invert and causes bumps. It may seem like you are getting a closer shave, but you are actually causing issues you have to deal with longer term. Just keep shaving on a downward stroke only. After you lather your face up, let it sit. The longer it is on, the more pliable/softer your beard hairs will be and will make shaving much easier and closer. Rinse your blade constantly. Every time you stroke the blade on your face, rinse the blade. Haris are stuck between the blades and they prevent you from getting a close shave. When rinsing your blade, place the blade at the bottom of the falling water. Gravity and propulsion gives it more force to remove the hairs stuck between the blades. Rinse both sides of the blade, not just one side, so you make sure to get the hairs out from in-between. After shaving, dry the blades on your towel. Your blades will last much longer. Don't put the blades in a box or bag. Just leave it out to dry faster. Get a good razor. I use the Amazon Basics 5-Blade MotionSphere Razor and it is a fantastic razor and the best price on the market. It works flawlessly, lasts a long time, and is much cheaper than the name brands and works better than any of them. Hope this helps. Happy shaving! Love, Brad Read more

Reviewing outcome: checks all the boxes. Experience? For me (and I realize I am in the minority), it falls flat. Cremo does exactly what it promises. It protects the skin, reduces irritation, and lets a razor glide with clinical efficiency. If shaving were a task to be optimized, this would be an excellent solution. But after using this for many years, I realize I am underwhelmed. It doesn’t lather, it doesn’t bloom, it doesn’t announce itself. For me there’s no sensory payoff: no bold scent, no foam, no small pleasure that says “the day has begun.” It works quietly, dutifully, and forgettably. Which is to say: it performs like a well-designed appliance. Reliable, efficient, and oddly joyless. I doubt there will ever be a scene in a movie or a tv show where a guy we're supposed to love wipes away condensation from a mirror, snaps open a tube of Cremo, and treats himself to a shave. There's a reason we see this scene play out with old fashioned cheap stuff from a can. So, like I say, it really does the job, hence five stars. But increasingly I feel like I want to enjoy the small theater of the sink: this hiss of the can, the expansion of the foam, and the tactile pleasure of lather. And in this regard, for me, Cremo feels less like an upgrade and more like something essential has been removed. It's a premium product that implicitly promises more than just efficiency, so I feel like I can say this. I don’t doubt its quality. I just don’t enjoy using it. Read more

This stuff is legit. Been through a bunch of shaving creams, gels, and foams over the years — nothing comes close to this. Cremo’s Sandalwood Shave Cream actually makes shaving feel like a sensual experience, not some rushed, annoying part of my morning. It lathers up beautifully — not foamy junk, but a rich, slick cream that lets the razor glide like butter. You feel it protecting your skin. No tugging, no irritation, no post-shave regret. The sandalwood scent is smooth, masculine, and just strong enough to leave a subtle trail after you rinse. It lingers, in a good way — not overpowering, just clean and warm. If you hate shaving, this might flip the script. If you already like shaving? You’re about to love it. Read more

Great shave cream. I love it more than the original flavor. Much smoother and studs well. The only reason four star is because the picture show concentrated shave cream but the actual product doesn't have the word "concentrated" may be they have updated packaging but not the picture Read more

This is the best shaving cream. It only requires a very small amount and helps prevent nicks and cuts. This is the only shaving cream I will use. Read more

This is the best shaving cream I have ever used. Unlike typical foaming creams, it creates a thin, smooth protective layer on the skin that prevents the razor blade from scraping. It did wonders for my sensitive skin, reducing irritation significantly. I pair it with the Gillette Labs 2-blade sensitive razor, which delivers an excellent close shave without causing ingrown hairs. Shaving is quick and comfortable, taking just minutes with this smooth cream. Highly recommended for sensitive skin and a hassle-free shaving experience. Read more

I've used various shaving creams and soaps, and this one tops my list. It's easy to work up a good lather, provides super-slick razor action. The instructions are to apply a small amount onto wet skin and massage unil a light lather forms. I put a slightly larger amount into my shaving cup and work it into a fuller lather using a slightly dampened shaving brush, then apply to my face with the brush. There is plenty of lather left in the brush to add more to my face as I shave. One tube lasts quite a long time, even though I use more than the recommended amount of product. Read more
