I didn’t think it was worth it. No intention of reordering. Then I went back to the gel stuff and it was a, “holy crap - this stuff is worthless” moment. Once I got past not having crap all over my face, it turned out the Harry’s stuff is wildly superior. I still like to top it off with a proper shave cream when I have it. This is the best shaving cream I have ever used. Okay it is non-aerosol but it is great and has a nice cooling sensation associated with it when first applied and the sensation still has a bit of memory after the shaving task is completed. Read more

I purchased two tubes of Harry’s Shaving Cream in June. When I first opened one to check the scent, I found it had a strong minty smell that I personally didn’t care for, so I set them aside until I finished my previous shaving cream (Gillette Pure). By the time I finally tried using the Harry’s product, the return window had passed. To my surprise, when I applied it, it produced absolutely no lather — none at all. I’ve never encountered a shaving cream that doesn’t lather, and it made for a very unsatisfying shave. I even double-checked to see if I was using it incorrectly, but I wasn’t. I’m not seeking a refund, and I understand I’m outside the return period. I’m writing this review so that others are aware of my experience. Whether this was a bad batch, expired product, or just how this formula is intended to work, I don’t know. But I personally would not purchase it again and wouldn’t recommend it to others who expect a traditional shaving cream experience with lather. Read more
