Not sure what others are talking about, in regards to it leaking/staining the end of the pen. I've had mine for over a month now and haven't experienced this. I even bought the recommended refill cartridge to swap it out, but forgot/too lazy to do it. Kinda feeling like it was unnecessary at this point, but suppose it'll do when this cartridge runs out of ink. Totally would recommend this as it writes great and looks awesome! I think it goes without saying that I'm a huge star wars fan, since I did spend the $30 to own this pen. That being said, this pen is awesome. I was skeptical about it, but I was proven wrong. This is the best writing pen I have ever used. I do a lot of writing at work, and I cant stand the way a ballpoint pen writes, so gel pens became my go to. The Pilot G2 has been my go to pen for the last 2 years, and quite frankly it still is. But this pen writes more smoothly and creates sharper lines than the G2. It is a very thin pen, so if you aren't comfortable with a thickness close to that of a pencil, you wont like this pen. It is definitely an amazing pen, and like I said, the best I have ever used. The only problem is i have a hard time buying the $7 refills. So I tend to used it less often. But I usually have at least one person say something about it when I bring it to meetings. This is a nicely made pen as I've become accustomed to getting from Cross. But I'm really let down with the gel ink cartridge. It leaks, even when the pen is in the closed position when you click it open the ink is all over the silver tip. Also as you begin to write the ink will start to bunch up all around the tip. Very distinctive pen...barrel is white but has a faint pearlescent sheen. Lightweight. Click is firm and crisp. Flow of ink is good without gooping/globbing as others have mentioned. Note that the refill Cross ink is the SLIM gel refills, not the standard size. Read more

Came as advertised. The gel ink cartridge writes smoothly, but if you don’t want to use the gel cartridge that comes with it you can purchase the regular ink cartridges (8783-2 or 8783-5) which fits perfectly and writes just as smooth. I would recommend all the Star Wars cross pens, since they are top notch like the other cross pens on sale out there. Read more
