I received this Crescent crossbody bag through the Amazon Vine program. I originally picked it out for my girlfriend, though I haven’t given it to her yet, so these are my impressions. The first thing I noticed is that it’s bigger than I expected. I thought it would be closer to a small wallet-style purse, but it’s really more of a mid-sized crossbody bag — almost like a fanny pack in style, but with more capacity. It’s not cumbersome, but it’s definitely not dainty. If you carry a lot, you’ll appreciate the space; if you don’t, the extra room might feel unnecessary. The material is a synthetic nylon-like fabric. It feels light and airy, though not especially soft. Out of the box it arrived a bit wrinkled, but I imagine those will smooth out once it’s filled. The strap feels sturdy and the cream color I received looks clean and attractive. I’d consider this bag more practical than stylish. It’s not really a “going out” purse — I wouldn’t bring it to a white tablecloth dinner — but it seems like a great everyday bag, especially for casual use or even travel. I could see it working well as a small carry-on if you don’t want to bring a full backpack. One small improvement I’d like to see would be a latch or buckle on the strap for easier adjustment or removal. Otherwise, it’s a solid mid-sized crossbody option.
