I love this item! It makes me feel hugged and with being single really helps me feel less lonely. It has a pillow case It comes with, can easily be packed in its original bag for transport (by rolling it) When I first got it, I slept like a baby, I still do. Also great for wrapping around yourself and giving yourself a tight hug. Its heavy but not too heavy, but can be doubled up for its length for that bulky boyfriend arm. I got this weighted pillow after first getting a much bigger puffier one that's filled with polyester and I wanted to compare them. Because it is so bendable, it took a little while to figure out what positions I like to cuddle this pillow in. Now I've found my sweet spot( half of it on my chest while laying on my back, and half alongside me so my arm can lay on top of it) and I can feel the cooling cover and the nice weight of the beads in the blanket. If I need the extra support for my neck, this pillow provides that relief. If I need to sit up I can fold it behind me and use to as a prop, when I turn to my side I fold it up and hold it to my chest and chin. It's attractive looking but simple. The stitching looks top quality and I'm not worried about the beads getting out of any seams. The size is pretty much perfect for what it is. The bigger puffier one really is just too big and puffy, so that ones went to my partner and this one is my regular pillow for nights and naps (which I feel are so much easier to fall into now with this pillow). At first, I folded it over itself for extra bulk, but it ended up too heavy and too short. That’s when I realized this pillow wasn’t just an end product, it was a starting point. It comes with its own pillowcase, slightly oversized, leaving just enough room to get creative. My first fix? Wrapping it with a towel for added thickness and pulling the pillowcase over the contraption. Worked like a dream, but it still felt too light. If you prefer something heavier, something that presses into you with a grounding weight, this is where the magic happens. The pillow unzips, unfolding into a blanket. And inside? Space to add whatever you need for weight! For my fix, I mixed 1.5 lbs of rice with a few drops of lavender oil, packed it into disposable tea bags (silent, unlike plastic), and lined them neatly inside the blanket. Once zipped back up and wrapped with the towel, I slid the cover back on, and it was perfect. Weighted, soft, and scented, every bit the hug I’d been looking for. I absolutely love this cuddle-weighted pillow. It’s easily the best purchase I’ve made when it comes to pillows, duvets, and sleep accessories. What makes it perfect is how flexible it is.
