This coffee pot has been absolutely amazing and one of the best we've had to date. As someone who loves coffee, I expect a lot of my coffee pot and while it may not be the fanciest we have owned, Cuisinart delivers with this coffee pot. With its compact design and fairly inexpensive price tag, I have been very happy with this compact coffee pot in my relatively small kitchen. Best of all, it produces the best-tasting coffee rather quickly, allowing us to enjoy our morning coffee without much hassle. Along with being very durable, I love this coffee pot's functionality, which allows me to enjoy a great cup of coffee without many breakable parts that require constant cleaning (I had glass carafes). It is very easy to program it and even delay brewing, making it a great coffee for any coffee lover! Read more

I've had this coffeemaker for at least 2 years. The design and countertop appearance is nice. The plastic water container holds 12 cups of water. I somehow managed to crack the water container and ordered a replacement. It was sent overnight and solved the problem. The pods for my last coffeemaker just became too expensive. I like that I can make coffee or tea to the "strength" that I like and as much or little as I like. Yes, I would purchase this again. Read more

This is the second time we have purchased this coffee maker. The fist was about 5 years ago and with 6 people in the house it finally gave out. But we like it. 1. No pot to break 2. Makes enough for large group 3. Programmable 4. Easy to empty to clean and comes with a water filter packet in water holder. Read more

I’m so disappointed in this machine. My last Cuisinart coffee maker (12 cup and hot water dispenser) was my daily companion for 12 + years. The $200 retail price on that one was money well spent! When the heating element finally gave out, I did my research and thought this on demand model would work for me; I’d purchased a nice kettle for hot water needs and replacement glass carafes added up over the years on the old workhorse. And it did make coffee without problems…in its first year. Since then, it’s become an almost monthly issue that grounds or particles get caught and you have to run the entire machine under the faucet to make sure the gasket can seal properly. I’ve figured out that setting the maker in an inch deep pan keeps any spillage from spreading mess or ruining other items stored on the counter. I’m opting to use my French press more often, even if I have to do that twice for the same amount of coffee this machine could make at once. Now I’m looking to get a replacement and I haven’t even had it a full two years. Don’t make my mistake! Read more

Friends of ours had this coffeemaker, and we liked it so much we bought our own. It is great for yourself, your family, or a small party. The coffee isn't quite as hot as we like it and we wish that the heat setting was adjustable, but overall we are really happy with this coffeemaker. (Edit) We have had our machine for awhile and still really like it. One point to add is that several people here complain about the short cord, but they are wrong. The cord length is perfectly acceptable-- it is just tucked into the base of the coffee maker and some people apparently cannot figure that out on their own so best to just ignore them. Read more

If it wasn't for the leaking, I would give this product 4/5 because the flavor is good and I like the dispensing mechanism. This is the second model I've had and both have had the same problem - occasionally, during brewing, the dispensing mechanism get's stuck slightly open and coffee begins leaking out, which can make a huge mess. Cleaning it seems to help, but this is a fatal product flaw. Read more
