I had another steamer that I used forever and I had to finally replace it. This steamer is wonderful. The size is great for my peppers, asparagus and broccoli. It fits nicely in my microwave, and it washed up easily. I wash it by hand but I wouldn't hesitate to wash it in the dishwasher, top rack. Read more

Sweet potatoes turned out terrific with just the right softness, but stained the tray. . I bought this specifically for sweet potato treats for my dogs. I have since steamed asparagus and regular potatoes with great results. The plastic is of good heavy quality and the plastic remains in excellent condition, despite the staining. The bottom of the bowl is stamped recycle 5 (In pic) which is the code for polypropylene, a BPA free substance. So I will continue to use it. 1 star off for the staining, which makes the dish look dirty every time I use it. Read more

Absolute best steamer. I was looking for something to put in an Insta pot for just a few vegetables. This is far superior to anything I would have to haul out for my Insta pot. Cooks veggies perfectly. My only complaint is that there is no instruction/cooking guide included despite the fact the literature says it is. I had to order it three times and still no literature came. So I ended up looking it up one line printing it out and putting it in a space close by the steamer. Read more
Really well constructed. It is made of a good thick material. Easy to clean and looks like it would hold a good amount of veggies. Great design for longer veggies like asparagus. I can see where the white insert could get stained by carrots or sweet potatoes like others mentioned, but honestly who cares every plastic container I have had has stained it’s plastic that’s gonna happen. It in no way affects how the cooker works. I thought it was a great price for the quality of the product. Read more
