Instructions call for 6mm drill bit. I recommend using no 3/16" SAE if you don't have metric. Heavy duty brackets. Strong design. Adjustment simple and locks securely. Really nice, very sleek and modern looking. Installed quickly, held up the curtains just like a curtain rod should. The only complaint is these curtain rods can go from a 2 foot wide window to a 6 foot wide window. I only needed it to span 2 feet, so there was a lot of wasted Rod parts. I put them into the recycling bin, because there really isn’t anything else that can be done with them. If they sold hardware and end caps, maybe I could have given the extra parts to someone to be used. Read more
