This arrived compressed and sealed. I carefully removed the packaging and it immediately expanded to the shape shown in the picture. It is the highest quality dense memory foam. It keeps its shape. It supports me as I exercise. There is no sinking and no sagging, yet it's "crazy good comfortable"!! It even has a soft white quilted zippered cover on it, which can be removed and washed. Comes shrink wrapped but after unwrapping came up to perfect size for in my recliner. Helps my back arch comfortably and enables me to sit in a good position. Am ordering a second one for my husband since he thinks its great too! Read more
I got this to use in my Massage Therapy practice. My clients appreciate it and it is easy to use. Very comfortable. Only downside is that it is not water/oil resistant. I am still trying to find something to enclose it with that will fit well. Probably going to make something myself, but the bolster is perfect size and perfect cushion amount for clients in both supine and prone positioning. Read more
The doctor told me that I had lost the curve in my lower back and I have chronic back pain. I bought this pillow and lay with it under my back while watching TV in bed. It is helping me to walk straight up instead of leaning over. I am buying another for my husband to use under his neck while watching TV in the recliner.It's soft but firm enough to keep it's shape. This works great as knee separator when sleeping on your side. But it is worthless as a support under knees while sleeping on your back, goes totally flat. Does not help lumber at all. Most “support” pillows are like that. So I just unzipped it and added some dense filling that would not go flat, (old sweatshirt rolled up) and now it works better. Best support you can get without buying the ones that are specifically for massages therapy. Read more
This cushion is perfect for multiple positions, areas of the body, that I've used it for since I received it. I followed the instructions and waited a few days before using it once I unpacked it in order to let it get to it's proper shape and firmness. I only wish more were in stock so I could get a couple more. I love how versatile and comfy this is! Read more
There are a zillion similar products like this on Amazon. I read a lot of the reviews to make sure I would get a reasonable product. I'm satisfied with the product, though not ecstatic. Honestly, I'm not sure I could be ecstatic about a contoured slab of memory foam. This one meets my needs. It does not have, as some of the others reportedly have, a chemical smell. I have an extremely sensitive sense of smell and this one has no detectable smell. It seems to be just about right in terms of firmness/softness--neither too firm nor too soft. It is the tallest at 5". Most of the the others were 4". I wanted that additional inch. It came packaged well and does in no way appear to be a returned item. It doesn't seem to be as dense as the memory foam pillow I have, but I'm not sure that makes a noticeable difference. It's lightweight and compact and that meets my needs. It's not as comfortable for my knees as my memory foam pillow, which is neither lightweight or compact--so there is the compromise. It is difficult for me to think that this product would be unacceptable to anyone, but if you are using it for your neck, there may be a different set of considerations. For my knees, it works well enough. Read more
