I bought a full set of Cutco knives about 15 years ago. They are great. Like other knives, they need to be sharpened regularly. Cutco will sharpen the knives for free (there's a shipping cost) if you send them to Cutco. I've done it many times and it works very well. You will be without them for a week or so. CUTCO TABLE KNIVES are my FAVORITE. I highly recommend them. We use them at every meal instead of table knives that traditionally come with tableware. They are serrated and sharp. They cut the food on your plate (meat, vegetables, bread, you name it) much better than the other knives. Read more

Well, expensive. But so worth it! These knives are outstanding. Great grip, the cut awesome. They come with a little fancy case too. I've tried a lot of knives over the years and these are by far the best. I wish I could afford more. That have so many different options, but I can't spend what they want on knives. I have had Cutco knives my entire live (as far as I can remember at least). These things are sharp and they stay sharp. They are easy to clean. It says they are dishwasher safe but I hand wash them. I have not used a steak knife anywhere that cuts better. Read more

I was expecting the same old rivets through the handle design. The new handles are updated and quite wonderful actually. They are smooth and shiny and super sharp. Overpriced perhaps but I am happy to have these lifetime quality knives! Read more

I had a set like this when I lived in AZ at that time you could only buy them if you let a sales rep visit and have an in home demo. I didn't want to go through that and took a chance on searching Amazon. I found what I had previously for about 40% less then I paid. JUst an fyi do not let children use this for cutting up there food, they are as sharp as scapels. Read more
