OK, I bought four of these, despite the fact that my room is absolutely tiny. I wanted four so that when two of them got dirty, I could still have two fresh new ones taking their place. I did indeed throw these into the washing machine. I even added a tiny bit of bleach just to get all the germs out. I wouldn’t recommend the bleach on something green, mind you, perhaps use baking soda or vinegar instead, but I was very tired that day and I had been doing a bunch of white sanitizing loads, so the bleach was automatic for me. Luckily the color stayed and despite the fact that I also washed it on hot with high spin, no damage occurred to the rugs. For drying them, I laid them out on the back of my couch. Placing them in a hot dryer sounded like a bad idea to me since hot air can often dry out plastic, making it brittle and even causing it to crack or flake off, which is why we get all those bath mats with an accompanying mess in the dryer. Overall, these rugs are absolutely fantastic. My daughter is very drawn to visually appealing warmth and comfort. We are both autistic, which is why I chose these in the first place. They make me feel more creative and cozy. For the first time in a very long time, my daughter wanted to be in my room with me because of these rugs. I definitely recommend them. Read more
This rug is super cute and high quality given the price paid, but it shows dust and dirt a little too much for my liking. Despite explicitly avoiding stepping on it with shoes or slippers, within a month or two it’s starting to look worn which is kind of a shame for something I just bought a couple months ago. The rug is thick and plush feeling, and feels nice underneath your feet. I haven’t noticed any shedding, just that it collects a lot of dust which makes the otherwise vibrant green hues turn to an ugly dingier tone faster than it should. I’m not sure how it’ll hold up in the wash, but once I launder it I’ll update my review to let everyone know how it does! Read more

The colors are so vibrant, it's durable in the washer and dryer. It doesn't slip on my flooring at all. It shed bit at first, but after the first wash it was fine. Read more
