Knives are very good quality and very heavy duty feeling. They also come very sharp. Having a self sharpening block would have helped a little, but it does come with a sharpener so you can sharpen the knives yourself. It also comes with a really good pair of scissors. I ordered the cleaver for my husband for his birthday and we all loved the knife so much that our boys asked for this knife set for Christmas. And I ordered the 3 knife set for my husband for now. I will be ordering another full set for my husband and myself soon as well. The knives are extremely sharp and have a really nice weight to them. All the blades are full tang and of high quality. The knife block is a beautofulnsolid wood Walnut. All of the knives are perfect sizes. I would highly recommend this knife set, it is of high quality and very well made. They feel lone they will last a good 25 years or more if taken care of properly. We have a set of Henckels that we have had for 24 years and they have lasted well, this set is even nicer than our Henckels so I imagine these will last 25 years or more. Read more

The knives are very sharp and slice through food effortlessly. They are also very stylish, elevated the look of my kitchen countertop, and the logo plate on the wood block is elegant. The handles are wood! I have been searching for a stylish set, specifically with wood handles. It is so hard to find good knives with wood handles, which I appreciate. This was an excellent buy and I highly recommend. UPDATE January 2026: While the knives are great, the kitchen shears are dangerous to use. I used the kitchen shears for the first time, and upon opening them, the two blade pieces completely separated! (see photos). I got this Cutluxe 15-Piece Knife Set as a gift for my girlfriend, who loves to cook and loves reminding me she’s better at it than I am.
