I absolutely love this! I was making a beautiful corset top for a dress for a theatrical production, and I was struggling to complete it on time. I needed to come up with some sort of closure quickly. Somehow, I discovered that these premade corset backings exist, and I bought one, hoping it would arrive in time for the play. It was ridiculously fast to install and completely solved the problem, resulting in a very professional appearance. I got multiple compliments on that piece! I will definitely be buying more of these in the future! It was a little bit pricey, when you consider adding this to the total cost of other materials. These loops didn’t have boning in them but they are still very sturdy. My daughter is very petite but busty and zippers just don’t give the same effect as the corset back. It was easy to sew them into the dress and to shorten them to the desired length. I didn’t even have to remove the zipper in her dress. Bonus for us, the color was a perfect match! I would definitely recommend these to anyone wanting to convert something from a zipper back to a corset back. Read more
