This kit was exactly what we needed! My daughter was given a gorgeous prom dress that was just a bit too small and someone recommended one of these kits. I went with this one because it was the darkest blue I could find on Amazon. The color was exactly as described and it was great quality. I've never replaced a zipper at all before, much less with a corset, but it turned out beautiful. This kit makes the process very easy, especially if you watch how-to videos online! Absolutely wonderful! I took a 30 year old brides maid dress that my mother's best friend wore back in 1996, shortened it from floor length (daughter is 5'7 and dress was for a 5'4 lady) and took out the ancient zipper because it was too snug. She wore it last night to her Court Warming dance and loved every minute of it. I plan on using a dark purple one now to do her prom dress, because we bought one on sale with a broken zipper.
