Ok, so they were delivered 11/11/25, and I put them up within a couple of days, so they have been up for just over a month. I will update this review if I have anything to comment on with regards to durability. I'm amazed at the looks and function of these lights. They are mostly for looks, I bought them to hang on our shed. While the light is nice to have, it's not something that we use that much - night time trips to the shed are infrequent, and when they are needed, light inside the shed is more important that outside. That said, I love the glow that they provide at night, and I am very happy with the looks. The lights stay on for a long time. One of the first nights that we had them, I got had to get up around 4:30 - 5 AM, and I was shocked to see the lights still burning - they truly stay on from dusk to dawn. Now, I'm not up at 4:30 every night, so I cannot say whether on these short, cloudy days, if the lights stay on that long, but I'm ok that they do it sometimes. I also have observed the function of them getting brighter when they detect movement, and that worked exactly as stated. I like that you can adjust them to always on or only motion if you wanted to. Installation was fairly easy - I did it myself, and my issues were more related to being able to use the impact driver and dropping the screws multiple times. Read more

I don’t know of ANY solar lamps are nearly as bright as house-wired lamps - probably not is my guess. So with this in mind, if you would be satisfied with lamps that produce good accent or mood lighting AND look pretty nice for plastic construction, these solar lamps may very well suit your needs. I have large 7” vinyl siding so I used metal clips that pop into place behind the siding and provide a threaded screw hole in which to mount this lamp, so I didn’t need to drill any holes. I hung one lamp to the side of my garage door and the other currently above a front bedroom window, though I’m thinking of relocating that one lower and next to my front porch for the reason that being so high up, the light is too dim by the time it reaches the ground. One thing that I added to both lamps is a vented bottom (held in place by two small screws) to help keep out most insects. I was originally going to use a piece of 1/16” clear plastic, but I wanted to maintain some ventilation so that the lamp would not become super heated during the summer, and possibly shortening the life of the bulb. So instead I cut two pieces of a perforated (holed) aluminum sheet which I had left over from a pet/screen door fab. The other thing is I added a single piece of thin aluminized bubble insulation like you might line sunny windows with, to the rear-inside of each lamp so that the rearward light projects forward (and to a degree to the sides) rather than being wasted lighting the rear wall surface. Again, this material I already had laying around so it was convenient for me to use. I purchased this 2-set of lamps after reading an online review of some of the better, recommended solar lamps, and so far they perform well and look nice for accent lighting. Read more
I put these on the sides of my garage door and they put forth a light that is exactly what I needed. I do love them though the light is not sustaining though maybe for only an hour or two past sunset (I live in central NY and it’s winter) hoping for a better result this spring and summer. Getting another pair for my shed and to add inside my patio area. Read more
recently installed solar sconces on my front porch, and I’m very pleased with the results. They give the facade a classic, elegant look without the hassle or expense of running electrical wiring. Installation was simple and completely wire-free, which made the upgrade quick and budget-friendly. The sconces offer various lighting settings, making it easy to adjust brightness and duration to suit different needs. The motion and light sensors work effectively, turning on right when needed and conserving energy the rest of the time. One thing to keep in mind is that these lights depend on adequate solar exposure. On the third day after installation, a cloudy day resulted in very limited illumination that evening. As long as the sconces receive enough direct sunlight during the day, however, they perform beautifully. Overall, these solar sconces are a stylish and practical addition to any porch—offering charm, convenience, and efficiency with minimal upkeep. Read more

I thought these would be a great addition to our Airbnb. And having pretty good reviews I ordered a set. Now 3 months later or less I realize neither one is working. Also they were not very bright when they did work. They are on the south side of building so getting enough sunlight shouldn't be the problem. Read more
