These are really sophisticated looking and blend well with just about any aesthetic. The black frame has simple lines, and crisp detailing, and creates a striking silhouette on the wall. The glass has a ripple effect to it that allows the light to play on the wall. I like the fact that the bulb can be changed and it can be wiped out without having to take it apart. Any standard lightbulb, under 100W, can be used giving you freedom of choice. Be aware that the bulb is not included. One thing that stood out to me as a negative issue, and almost cost this review a star, is that there are little glass square panels included that rest in the bottom of the lantern, and close it up to keep bugs out,one was broken. I could immediately hear the broken glass rattling around inside the box when I brought it in off the porch. Imagine my surprise when I saw a big bold orange stickers on the plastic packaging of those squares basically stating that this piece of the lantern is considered a gift from the manufacturer/seller, and it being broken or missing does not constitute a valid reason for a return or exchange. This was just wild to me, and the fact that they went so far as to include this little caveat sticker, tells me that a decent percentage of these arrive broken. Keep in mind, that it is not a critical component of the lamp, and out of the multiple (5+) lamps that we got, only one was broken. The seller claims that the glass these things have in them is extremely tough and "unbreakable", but that is clearly false, knowing that at least the bottom squares are breakable. The installation onto your home or structure is pretty straightforward, unless you just don't already have a light with the wiring where you want this to go. I got several of these to put around my backyard, and then at least two spots there is not already an existing light that can just be swapped for this one. I may eventually have electricity run to those locations, but for now I am just using rechargeable lightbulbs in them and it's working fine. Read more

The two unites are packaged well and arrived in great condition. All the pieces were included for installation and was pretty straight forward for a sconce light for my front porch. The metal and glass is a little on the thin side but I don’t have doubts that it will last under a covered porch if outside and you have more harsh conditions it may not hold up as well. I do wish there was some movement with the light box so I can twist and angle it since it is not quite facing straight. The whole fixture can tilt left and right so it can be leveled. I bought these Outdoor Wall Light Fixtures (2-pack) for my front porch and I couldn’t be happier.
