When I saw the heels on these, I wasn’t sure because it’s a different shape. Nonetheless, these boots have become my new fav! The boots are so so so comfy. I was worried because the sole is not super thick, but I wore them all day to teach in, and I have no complaints. The calf is quite wide; so, I had a gap, but I like that because then not tight or uncomfortable. The faux suede is well-done. They look much more expensive than they are. I'm convinced that these boots were actually made for my feet. They are the most perfect fitting and comfortable pair of boots that I own. (And that's saying a lot because I own WAY too many pairs of boots.) The chunky heel is so comfortable to walk in and I feel quite secure in these shoes. I doubt that I will choose them to wear on the icy roads after storms, but that has more to do with how beautiful they are than fear of falling. I wasn't sure about the beige color. I don't own a whole lot that these will go with, but there's this one jacket I have that they were made to match. Now that I have them... I'm going to have to do some shopping because I need an excuse to wear them more. The suede effect is beautiful. They are soft. And the zippers make them so easy to wear. I wasn't sure at first because the zipper is only in a section of the boot, rather than all the way up, but it turns out that's all you need. I like wearing boots when the weather gets cooler. My favorites are tall ones I can wear over my pants. It's not easy to find boots that are both comfortable and good looking. These boots are both. Their comfortable and warm with a soft lining. I can wear them all day long comfortably. The high heel makes my legs look longer and is wide enough to make them stable. These are a beautiful pair of faux suede boots. They feel like real leather even if they aren't, and they are comfortable to wear although I have not worn them for extended periods of time. However, they are long if you have short legs. For me, they go past my knees. The one thing I don't like is the inside flap under the zipper you have to be very careful not to snag when closing the zipper. It would work better if the flaps were longer and wider to accommodate the zipper pull so they don't easily come out. They are fairly priced or at least they are competitive with others on the market. Read more
