The material is of okay quality—not great, not bad, mid-range quality. The knit isn’t real tight, but it is also not real loose. I would qualify this sweater as a ‘value staple’. I am typically a size 34D/DD in the chest with muscular swimmer arms and a smaller waistline. I ordered a size small in this sweater, and it is very roomy and large on my body. The sleeves are a little long and the cardigan overall is longer than I prefer. It buttons across my chest just fine without gaps, so that is a plus! This is a traditional cardigan sweater in acrylic and the neckline is a little chunky. The buttons are secure. I probably would not wear this garment on a night out, but it’s okay for work and lounging about. The sizing for the small is definitely not a small and feels more like an 8/10 instead of a 2/4 fit. Vanity sizing strikes again. Those who traditionally would wear a size small will likely find this too large to be practical. I wish it came in an XS. Fit can vary among different sizes so I don’t know if the medium and large are also oversized, but I suspect they are a bit oversized. For those who want to layer, the sizing could be to your benefit, but it’s just too large to look correct on my frame. The yarn is soft and comfortable and it had no odors upon unboxing. Hand wash, line dry. DO NOT tumble dry or machine wash/spin your acrylic sweaters—that is what causes pilling. Always hand wash to keep looking fresh. Read more

This sweater was absolutely the perfect weight for me. I live in a hot climate but I sometimes need a sweater in the office due to a male controlling the office thermostat. This sweater offers warmth, but if I forget I'm wearing it and walk outside in warm temperatures to grab some lunch it's not punishingly hot either. It is incredibly soft, so much so that I'm fallen asleep wearing it a couple times. It looks like it should be scratchy, but it isn't. The fabric is firm enough that the sweater material does not sag or spread open between the buttons, which looks better for something I wear into the office in my opinion. This sweater has become one my favorite pieces of clothing I've gotten through the Vine program, and I am happy to recommend it. Read more
