As others have mentioned, this really isn’t a cardigan in the traditional sense. It’s more like a very lightweight cover-up. The fabric is thinner than a t-shirt and completely see-through. I don’t mind sheer layers when that’s what I’m expecting, but the photos and the word “cardigan” set a very different expectation. There’s no warmth, structure, or opacity here—this is purely a light drape over your arms. That said, at under $10 at the time of my review, the reality makes sense. If you go into it thinking of it as a summer layering piece to throw over a tank or dress for sun coverage or a bit of modesty, it’s fine. If you’re expecting anything remotely cardigan-like, you’ll be disappointed. Not unusable, just mislabeled. Call it a sheer cover-up and expectations would be much better aligned. Read more

This cardigan is exactly what I was looking for in a lightweight layering piece. While this lightweight cardigan laundered okay when machine washed on a cold, gentle cycle and low tumble dry (per instructions), the fabric is extremely thin and the thread and stitching are rather delicate. You CAN machine wash/dry but I don't think I SHOULD if I want the garment to last through multiple uses. It’s doubtful to hold up well with regular machine washing/drying.....so my plan is to hand wash and then deal with ironing out the wrinkles I get after hanging (or lying flat) to dry. The color (beige) is “mostly” accurate to the listing pictured. However, the material is translucent, not the opaque depiction shown in the CGI images. Some designs & colors that might look fine 'against' the beige color could be unattractive when filtered “through” it. This can significantly affect the appearance, as most colors and patterns ‘bleed’ through the almost sheer fabric. I have one neutral brown patterned blouse that it compliments/contrasts okay with. But since the pattern shows through so clearly, it’s wouldn’t be a great look for dressy occasions. And a lot of designs/colors would look simply awful under this for any situation, even for complimentary colors. Overall, it’s a nice fit but it won’t be a “go to” fashion choice for me on a regular basis....between caring for the fragile fabric and being limited to what I can wear under it. Read more

This is a cute, lightweight summer cardigan. It is 95% polyester and 5% spandex; and comes in good, basic colors. I like to wear a third piece as a topper with pants and a tank. Until recently, it's been difficult to find lightweight, short-sleeved (or 3/4-sleeved) pieces for the warmer months, or for all-day wear. This should serve that purpose as a good value ($14.99 when I ordered). The only thing I'm a little hesitant about is the design itself. It curves away at the hem or your stomach area. I'd prefer it to come down more straight. Regardless, this is a good topper that I will be able to work into my wardrobe with many of my summer outfits. Read more

I think it's fine for what it is, since this cardigan is described as a lightweight 3/4 sleeve open front cardigan fit for summer. Since the color is described as "plain" I knew it would be a pure white - not an off white or creamy white color. And the description summary states that it is "a little see through," so it is truly intended to be a thin, sheer cardigan top. It's honestly not bad considering it's not the plainest cardigan I've seen. The curved hem gives an extra ruffle at the front which is aesthetically more pleasing than a standard straight cardigan. This cardigan will make a good coverup for swimwear or thin spaghetti strap tank top. It is quite sheer, so expect the outline and patterns of what you're wearing to still show through underneath. Overall, this would be a good fit for summer wear for sure. Is it worth $15? To be honest, it's a bit pricey for a plain cardigan...but if you can catch this at a slight sale then absolutely. I’m 5'1" and weigh 97 lbs, and I ordered this casual 3/4 sleeve white cardigan in a size small. The fit is true to size, but the material is extremely thin and completely see-through. The photos on the seller’s page don’t show how transparent it is, which was disappointing. It offers no warmth at all and feels more like a beach cover-up than a jacket or cardigan. If the seller wants to reduce returns, they should include photos or a description that clearly shows how sheer the fabric is. This is definitely not worth the price their charging. Read more
