This sweater is so gorgeous. My daughter is size small, about 5'6', 120#, and it fit like a glove. Probably should have bought a Medium as she can't wear anything under it (but she won't take it off!). The wrists have a rounded metal button on them with a zirconium? diamond in it; the quarter zip zipper has a metal heart for the zipper, so utterly gorgeous. The quality is just outstanding. I have been wanting a Norway sweater for so long so this year I decided to splurge a little. What a lovely treat. The sweater is absolutely beautiful and fits perfectly, very flattering. Size,,,,,I am usually between a medium and a large (8-10 in numbers) I am 5' 6" and about 165 lbs. , depending on the brand and how I want it to fit. Based on the other reviews, I ordered the large. Perfect. Just enough room in the sleeves so you are not struggling to get it on or off. Gently tapered at the waist and falls at the lower hip level. I could wear a thin layer underneath such as a camisole or turtleneck base layer. It does not look boxy. Fantastic with jeans or black leggings and boots. With respect to the seller, I was missing a small item in the order. I called and they could not have been nicer. Order was immediately rectified. I got the dark blue and light blue one. There is everything to love about this sweater! It took a while to get here, but it was so worth it! Excellent quality, customer service... I wore a Neve sweater for 11 years, and it was time to buy a new one. Ordered one from Neve for $150 or so, what came was not 100% wool, but synthetics. And the website never mentioned it! More than that, it did not allow to leave a review. So I do some research and find this other manufacturer of Scandinavian sweaters, Dale of Norway. 100% wool, seems thick enough - just what I was looking for. Now look on the inside of the sweater (pic attached). Terrible knitting. I don't have long nails, but even my fingers, a watch knob and anything else gets entangled in the threading risking to tear it. The same with my trouser buttons. I can't say how many times threads have been pulled by them! And if one thread gets torn, there is no remedying it. As a side note, I am VERY careful with all my things and clothing... Now my mother and her best friend, who know a thing or two about knitting, are looking into ways to mend the inside. But it will be hard work and for what?
