The boots have a Gortex lineing and I've learned to order them a half size larger. Great fit right out of box. I use them working around the house,in the yard and taking my dogs a walk. Very Comfortable and Lightweight. Read more
I ordered a size larger to compensate for the width my odd size feet require. Obviously it wasn't enough. Boots are beautiful and I am sad that I have to return them. I couldn't even get them on my feet they were so narrow. I need a EEE width, and hoped by ordering a size larger that the EE width would work. I was mistaken. Quality boots, my feet, not so much. I owned these boots for 8 months before the seam busted on one boot and the zipper broke on the other. They look nice new but Ive never owned a pair of hunting boots that fell apart this quickly and they are the most expensive pair ive ever bought. Ive put other brands through far more then these and they generally last me -5 years. 8 month life span for a $230 boot is insane. Read more
Ordered these for myself for casual/good dress (self present). The fit was great but ended up returning because I was given an identical pair as a present. Well made and very good looking. Comfortable and easy on the feet. The zipper function allows easy on/off. Can't beat Danner quality/workmanship. Read more
I wanted to and tried to make these my daily wear boots for my work on a golf course and for occasional forays into duck blind. I don’t mind a bit of a break in on a high quality boot but it became ridiculous hobbling around by the end of the day. After finally using a shoe tree to stretch the toe box a bit on the right boot I was hopeful that they’d be comfortable enough for a day in the field. Walked through some water slightly above the ankle and water sluiced through in the left boot. Disappointing to say the least. Now what...shoe goo? Read more
