I have had this in my RV front window glass for over a year and it has done great for me! We took it on 3 month trip and it did a wonderful job recording our trip down the highway. The wide-angle view and quality was truly high definition with good in-cab audio recording as well. All through this and other journeys it has dutifully recorded the view out the front and turned itself off shortly after arrival/no movement. While we never needed the video for an accident claim, it is reassuring to know it is doing its job for us and will be a help if there is an issue. I've included a typical photo clip to give you a real-world sense of how well it works. This camera is easy to use and comes with a well-written manual of operation. The suction cup does an excellent job holding the camera to the window screen since we have no rear view mirror to hang it from. For us, this has been a great value for what we spent and provides some peace of mind. Read more
I recently purchased this dashcam, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with its performance. The setup was straightforward, and the camera quality is excellent, providing clear footage both during the day and at night. The wide-angle lens captures a broad view, which is crucial for recording everything happening around my vehicle. The parking mode feature is particularly useful; it automatically starts recording if there’s any motion detected near the car, which gives me peace of mind when my vehicle is parked. The display screen is large and clear, making it easy to view recordings directly on the device. However, the only downside I've noticed is that the mounting system could be a bit sturdier. It sometimes wobbles slightly on bumpy roads, which is a minor annoyance. Despite this, the dashcam is a great value for the price, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, feature-packed dashcam. Read more
Easy to install. The camera footage is pretty clear. You can’t get license plate info off of it easy because it makes things appear further out than they actually are in real life. Read more
dirt cheap and seems to work fairly well. Has audio and an embedded 32gb card. At high resolution video, I would guess there is about 160 minutes of rolling video that would give you. There is no wireless, but that is fine, I don't care about that. The video quality isn't great at magnification, and I can't even really tell the difference between low and high res when zoomed in. The suction cup seems to work pretty well. Read more
(EDIT: I have edited this review and changed from a 4 to 5 star rating, I have made a note later in this review as to why I made change) Let me start by saying that video quality/performance wise, this is a great little camera for the price. The videos are crisp/clear, even at night this camera is outstanding compared to dash cameras of a similar price range. The buttons are easy to press and the menu/operation is extremely user friendly/easy. (Edit: The following was written during my initial review, when I had just been using standard C charge cords that I already owned...the camera package actually comes with a cigarette lighter port charger with a right angled charge cord to properly plug into camera. So the majority of the rest of my review really only applies to people who aren't able to use their cigarette lighter port) So you may be asking yourself "this sounds like a 5 star item, what gives??" Well, dear consumer, the issue here is not with the camera itself, the problem is with the apparatus used to attach camera to window. The suction cup works as it should, the problem lies with where the power port is on the camera... due to the angle the camera is in relation to the windshield, the way the power cord plugs into camera puts a strain on the end of the power that plugs into camera. It forces the head of the power cord into an immediate, unnatural bend, which means it's only a matter of time before the cord becomes damaged/shorts out. As you can see by my photos, the way I got around this was to pair the camera with a different apparatus to attach it to window with. The one I have personally was only a couple bucks and honestly more secure than the suction cup style. In closing, a great camera with an unfortunate (yet manageable) design flaw. So unless you don't mind having to change your cord every once in a while, your best bet is to find a new way to hold camera to windshield. Read more
The media could not be loaded. The quality of the recordings is pretty good and the view is wide enough that I don't have to adjust it much when putting it back up as I get in the car. As long as it's facing forward, it's capturing the whole road. It also has pretty good night vision. My video was taken in the wee hours of the morning and I captured an accident fairly clearly. (I muted the sound, but the audio quality is clear) The only downsides include: videos are only stored locally and cannot be viewed or maintained remotely, the camera must be plugged in at all times as the battery does not hold a charge long, and the videos are only about 5 minutes long so if you drove for longer the trip will be split into multiple videos. Overall, you get what you paid for and this camera is good for the price. Read more
Very light, plastic-y feel. The buttons don't work sometimes and the SD card slot is very hard to use, you have to really shove the card into the slot to get it to pop in and out. Also, I recommend buying your own micro SD card because this one is only 32 GBs and will barely hold a day's worth of footage. Other than that, it gets the job done and has good camera quality. The installation is easy and comes with lots of accessories to fit your car in a good way, and the actual camera works really well. Read more
Nice dash-cam system for a great price, includes 32G sd card, install tools, and necessary cables. What most impressed me was their email customer service. 8 months after purchase I had an issue with the power plug, and they delivered a new plug to me for no charge. Read more
