Wasn't expecting much for the price, but I'm truly impressed at the video quality and the ease of use. I had to download VLC media player to view the videos, but it's free. Will be using this with my commercial truck as a CYA piece after my insurance agent suggested getting one. It's cheap and seems to get the job done without lots of bells and whistles. If we get into an accident and get sued (because we're a business, and that's just the way it works) it'll provide relevant evidence if we need it. Read more

Just installed this. It was not hard to set up and seems to work fine. Controls are easy to work and the menus are clear. It feels solidly constructed. Others have reported that the adhesive does not stay attached on the windshield. Time will tell. However, it seems like the 3M adhesive pad is sticky enough and it is just the clear sticker that you are supposed to attach to the windshield that does not hold. If that is the case, I will use another adhesive pad (it came with 4) and attach directly to the windshield. I will update here if neither method works. Update: The adhesive pad fell off of the clear sticker after 2 weeks. No trying direct attachment to the windshield with a new adhesive pad. I do wish that I had purchased one with a swivel mount. I thought I would like the streamlined look of this mount, but since I can't install the camera on dead-center, it points off to one side. I was able to lessen that effect by angling the camera a little bit off horizontal, but of course that results in crooked images. Read more

It's a good camera overall, but it came without the quick release buckle on top of it, so there is no way to easily remove it from the windshield once adhered / attached. I haven't found a way to get just that piece as a spare part or a workaround yet. Read more

DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE! #1 - What I was shipped did not have a 3.39" ISP screen. More like 1.9" maybe. #2 - There was NO 32GB Card included. # 3 - The mounting system is not what it sounded like in the description and is junk. Totally unusable and tore. #4 - Since the box tore on I'll probably have to swallow the cost and throw it into the garbage. Bad job on Amazon's part rating this so high. Read more
