My car was rear ended last year and the other driver fled the scene before I could get any information, so I finally bought a dash cam in case something like that happens again. The quality of this camera is excellent for the price. The installation instructions are easy to follow, and the suction cup for the front is very strong and secure. The rear camera has a strong adhesive. Installation might be difficult in northern regions in winter because the adhesive won't stick very well. I placed the cords along the bottom of the interior of the car and secured them with Command clips. It may not look professional but it does the job. Once I had them set up and plugged in, the cameras turned on automatically when I started my car, and they shut off when I turned off the car. The video is clear and automatically records when the camera is jostled. You can also press record as needed. The video quality looks good at night as well. You can view recorded videos on the device whenever you want. I would rather have this and not need it than need it and not have it. Read more
