For cleaning my cats ears. Exactly like the kind that the vet has. They gave me a few extras one time when I had a cat that had continual ear infections for nine months. I tried everything and she had cultures done and several rounds of antibiotics to no avail. Then her Holistic acupuncturist (severe arthritis ) told me about Xymox which they sell on Amazon. A couple of doses of that and it was gone! Anyhow it's good to check them and keep them clean. One of my cats now has an allergy to chicken and so he was getting gun in his ears which does happen when they have allergies and a lot of itching until you get it figured out. I bought these because I got tired of regular cotton swabs leaving pieces of lint behind in my ears. My ears are itchy so I'd use the swabs, but then they'd leave fibers behind in my ears...which would itch.
