I usually wear open toe slides, but my feet are getting cold (new house? getting older? anyway, I was excited to find these, and they have worked well. They are warm without making me too hot. They just fit (not with socks, a little tight for that but the leather may stretch a little. I like the hard soles, there's some support there, and I can run out to the mailbox in them if needed. Dearfoams Women's Suede Moccasin Slippers have several positive attributes, but a few shortcomings. My favorite features of these slippers are their soft, cozy sherpa lining--perfect for keeping tootsies warm in cold weather--and the cushioned sole that make walking in them comfortable, even on our hard tile floors. But I wish they would have done their labeling differently, as the labels sewn into the shoes detract from their level of comfort. First, there's a fabric label that's sewn inside the shoe, where the sole of your foot can feel it. When worn with bare feet (like slippers typically are), the label rubs unpleasantly, which I find annoying. There's another fabric label sewn into the inside lining, which again, rubs against the sides of my feet uncomfortably. I have another pair of Dearfoams brand slippers that don't have these kinds of labels, and they are much more comfortable. Note to manufacturer: better to redesign the finish so that the wearer can fully enjoy their feet being cuddled in the fleece lining. Also, and this is a small issue, but even though the slippers came very well-wrapped and protected, there is a small scuff mark on the top of one of them. Sure these are going to get scuffed--they are made of suede--but I wouldn't expect a scuff mark fresh out of the box. A note about sizing: Since these are only available in full sizes, and I wear an 8.5, I got these in a size 9. I would have been better off with a size 8, as my heels slip when I walk in the 9s. If you wear a half shoe size, consider going a half size lower; I believe the slippers will likely stretch out over time, even if they fit a little snug at first. I will use these, but will only be wearing them with socks for the reasons described above. If you aren't as sensitive to labels rubbing against your bare skin as I am, or plan to wear these with socks, these are a good option. Read more

My daughter loves that they are very warm and comfortable and look good. The lining packed down flat pretty quickly and they can get a little smelly. Also, the leather lace bow on one of them came undone and now just won’t hold its knots anymore, which is weird. We’re thinking of gluing it. The outer leather and soles have held up well after two months of constant indoor and occasional outdoor wear. The fit was good, but obviously lined slippers like this have a bit of give. Read more

When it's time to pick my kids up from school and other activities, I usually slip on sandals, but the weather is turning cold, and I was looking for something warmer and easy to slip on for quick car trips. I've had Dearfoam slippers before and have loved the quality, so when I saw these Dearfoams Women's Suede Indoor Outdoor Harriet Moccasin Shoe House Slippers, I was excited to order them. I am not disappointed. They fit true to size, snug enough not to fall off or slip around and are very comfortable. I wear them without socks, and the soft inner material is very comfortable on my feet. These moccasins support my feet well, and provide good protection from the rough gravel in my driveway. Because of the suede uppers, they are more attractive to wear out and about than slippers, and look very nice. I've also worn them for quite a while around the house, and while I thought that they'd make my feet sweat, they actually regulated temperature very well. With so many different slipper and moccasin options out there, I feel that these Dearfoams are a great value. I'm so pleased with my order! Read more

The media could not be loaded. These Dearfoam suede slippers are so comfortable! I’ve worn Dearfoams for years and in several different styles. These are by far my favorite! My foot is a true size 8 when I measure it but I feel like I usually size up for comfort. I got these in a size 8 and when I went to put them on I thought they were not going to fit. They were a little tight getting them on but once my foot was in the slipper they fit like a glove (over time they have stretched out and molded to my foot so they’re a lot easier to get on now). My feet are also kind of wide. These slippers hug my feet perfectly and the memory foam bottom is heaven. They’re nice and warm and they have a thick sole which I like, it allows me to take the trash out, grab the mail or let the dogs outside without having to change into sneakers. The gray color is a true gray and absolutely beautiful and the suede is soft but durable. I know dearfoams can be a little expensive but you definitely get your moneys worth in my opinion. I have dearfoams that are over 5 years old and still going strong. I’m on my feet all day for 13 hours and when I get home the first thing I do is kick off my work shoes and put on my slippers.
