This monitor overall is amazing. My monitor did not show up with any issues, no dead pixels and was not dead on arrival. The monitor makes all games very smooth and the picture quality is amazing. If you are considering buying the monitor I would buy it. Pros: Good picture quality 144HZ Height Adjustable and forward and back tilt Great price for the performance Comes with needed cable to run 144hz Multiple ports Cons: Only the base of the monitor stand is metal, though still sturdy May need to adjust the colors No pivot, though you cant get everything for the price Overall 10/10 Read more
I have been gaming on this monitor for about a week, usually FPS games, and it has performed very nicely. This was my first upgrade from 60hz to 144hz (143.85hz) and it's lightyears better. This monitor is sturdy and the small bezels give it a very sleek design. The only issue I've noticed so far is that the brightness/picture quality fades a bit when viewing at sharp angles other than straight on. This isn't an issue for me though as my desk allows me to sit directly in front of the monitor. I've read that other buyers have received models with dead pixels or other physical defects, but I have none so far. This is a GREAT monitor for the price and I highly recommend if you are looking for a budget 144hz monitor. Read more
As a technical user and avid gamer, I can confidently say that the Dell 144Hz Gaming Monitor FHD 24 Inch Monitor is a fantastic choice for anyone in need of a high-performance display. I recently played Jedi Survivor on my Zenbook Pro 15, and the monitor's 144Hz refresh rate made the gameplay incredibly smooth and immersive. The multiple inputs and easy input switching feature are also highly convenient, especially for users with multiple input devices. I even connected my Raspberry Pi as a secondary input and had no issues switching between my devices. Overall, the Dell 144Hz Gaming Monitor FHD 24 Inch Monitor is an excellent investment for anyone looking for a top-tier gaming display. Read more
After returning my LG UltraGear 24GL600F-B for its horrible color banding, I was worried that I wouldn't find anything better in this price range for gaming AND artwork. I do a lot on my computer, and I need a monitor that supports that. No pixel issues, the stand is amazing, the whole thing is ergonomic with how it stands higher up than others, allowing you to view at a more natural angle. The thing is really close to being borderless, it looks so smooth and doesn't suffer from any glare issues. I only had to adjust my computers gamma, and going into testing contrast, black and white saturation, etc through Lagom, I can say this monitor has surprised me. I'm just so glad I decided to refund that other one, and go for this. Who knew Dell makes such good monitors? I guess I do now. Read more
First monitor was bad, replacement is fine. Both units I received make electronic noise while turned on so they used some Very cheap internal parts in this unit. Picture is better on colors than other TN monitors I have used in the past. One thing that stands out about this monitor is the all black design is much better than 99% of other ugly designs of monitors, this look is much appreciated. At $170 being cheaper than most of its competitors it was a fair purchase. However if you can find a better price and you like the specs/design I would say go for that instead nothing too special about this monitor. One major reason I bought this monitor is for a TN panel because 144hz with less motion blur and faster response than other panel types. Also it's appreciated that this monitor uses a flat panel and Not curved. Important thing to note is Dell is a jerk and does NOT include a DisplayPort cable, So if you want 144hz and Free/Gsync you'll need to spend an extra $10 making real Total price about $195. About 4 years ago I had 144hz monitor for $150 that came with DisplayPort cable, so as with most things price is inflated during Covid times. If your tight on a budget MonoPrice.com I see has an openbox 144hz monitor for $130 and regular price $150 for that monitor. I hope my review was helpful! Read more
This is an excellent gaming monitor for those of us who are also working from home during the pandemic. Colors are great for a TN panel. One of the things I like the most about it is the ability to adjust the height of the stand. I have a sit stand desk at my studio that I often times swing up and down during the day while working. The ergo capabilities of the monitor makes it so much easier on my column to withstand the entire day at home! I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the market for a gaming monitor. At $199 it won’t break your bank, and you’re getting an impressive 144hz refresh rate! Read more
