This Chromebook is great. I haven’t had a computer in MANY years since I just use my phone for stuff. I finally broke down and bought one since they’re so cheap here on Amazon. Ooh am I glad I did! I ended up getting sent a nicer model than what was pictured, and she works absolutely perfectly. Smitten! Really not bad considering she was 71 dollars after tax. Not a lot of RAM but I wasn’t looking for something that would have a lot, and definitely not for under 100$. Fast, works well for everything I’ve thrown at her yet. The Dell 5190 11 inch chromebook exceeds all my expectations. I bought this "refurbished. excellent" and it looks brand new. I have bought several electronics as 'refurbished by Amazon, excellent' and all have been as described. This Dell 5190 comes in several versions: 4gb /32Gb with and without a touchscreen and 8/64 gb with and without touchscreen. Some posts say they did not get a touchscreen as the refurbished model. I was lucky and did get the touchscreen. My device is 4/32gb. The device is fast, responsive and has long battery life. I do not game . I read and write mail, read the news, read books, watch movies and live TV on the device...all work perfectly.The device has inherent split screen for apps and it has no problem running a movie on one half screen and any other app on the other half. My one strange finding is that the device will not run the Youtube tv app. Weird for a Google Chromebook but is the first one I have used. You run Youtube tv through the website on Chrome so all is good. The device itself is rock solid with hinges that keep the screen just where you put it. The screen folds flat but not all the way to tablet fold. The touch screen is adequately responsive. I attached a wireless mouse and use all three --touch screen, touchpad , and mouse as needed. The touchpad can be a bit slow to move the curser versus the mouse but I have experienced that on thousand dollar laptops. Overall, this Dell 5190 exceeded every expectation for me and I have used laptops since they were invented. Excellent screen, sturdy, long battery, easy to use, inherent split screen capability....all here. And, Amazon refurbished as if new with 90 day warranty. Read more

I bought this for my son as he was about to start 3rd grade. His school required a device, and considering he was only 8, I wanted something that wouldn't hurt my pocket in case he lost it, or, got damaged from dropping backpack. School year is 3 weeks away from ending and it works perfectly. It did get a weird vertical line on the screen, but that is probably on him. As a refurbished product, it did come very nicely packaged with its charger. It was very easy to set up. It asked if it was going to be used for school or home. I was able to set it up with both his school and personal account. I got to set it up with Family Link which allows for great parental control options. He uses it mostly for Google suites and a few online game websites like poki, gimkit, blooket, and other. Read more

Horrible piece of junk. It worked for 94 days and now won't turn on and warranty is only for 90 days. I contacted customer support and they basically said oh well. Save your money. Read more

It works good but after a couple of weeks the power cord quit working and wouldn't change it. I found another cord and with it charges slow but it works. I would have given higher rating if I hadn't had trouble with cord. Read more
