I selected this laptop because of multiple reasons. Some of these reasons are; upgradable ram, upgradable storage, upgradable Wi-Fi card. I like the i7 CPU, and having a dedicated GPU is much better than an IGPU. I like that so many components are not soldered down, and I believe this to be an excellent pairing for the CPU and GPU. The screen only being able to refresh at 60 hertz does leave a little to be desired, but if you are looking to play old titles, or do not mind a second monitor, this is a great budget gaming machine, along with a very fast daily work machine. I have yet to make it stutter or stop. in 2023, this is a tank of a pc. Read more

I got this knowing what the reviews said some good, some bad. My charger came in the box, I had no issues with the box in general, everything was wrapped well. I usually get my laptops from Best Buy but I needed something quick. Ge force was installed. And all of my information transferred smoothly. I love that the touch pad is larger and that we can use our fingerprint for access. If you work from home like me I highly recommend purchasing the Ethernet port! Haven't tested gaming, it doesn't have touch screen. Excellent purchase. Make sure to turn sleep off, just use hibernation when computer will be idle at your preferred time interval. Enjoy! Read more

First of all, I have been a loyal Dell customer for over 25 years! After buying this laptop, I have had the most disappointing customer service experience with Dell that has been going on for MONTHS! Let me recap for you: - I bought this Dell laptop several months ago - The tracker pad did not work correctly, almost from the start. - The Dell team had me send it in for repair even though I need the laptop to do my job, not our problem your customer service team says. - So, I send the laptop in and buy a new one that I returned as soon as they sent me mine back. - They send it back and I return the laptop I bought and get my refund (talk about a waste of time for all involved) - Then maybe a week later, the motherboard goes, their team asks me to send it in again but I refuse and they send a technician and he replaces the motherboard, great! - The laptop is ok for a few days AND then the screen goes. The Dell team asks me to send it in again, again I refuse because I need a laptop to do my job - So, they send another technician, and he replaces the screen. Great! - Then every time I start it, it asks for my BitLocker Code due to something the first technician did. - Again, I complain and ask for a new laptop, and they refuse and send me a refurbished one. - The tracker pad doesn't work on the refurbished one BEFORE I have a chance to send in the original one which I need to sign into BitLocker every time I restart it. - So, I send the refurbished one back and still have the original one with the replaced motherboard, replaced screen and replaced trackpad - And guess what? Now the trackpad has gone AGAIN!!!! Since then I have been going back/forth with their customer service reps. I asked the customer service rep to escalate this, but he said he is the final authority even though he just sends canned responses. I bought this laptop in April and it has been nothing but trouble as you can see. I expect more from Dell. I get it, there are lemon laptops, it happens, but do the right thing and replace it. The time and money they have spent on their horrible attempt at customer service is way higher than the $1,000 I spent on the laptop in the first place. So, not only is it bad customer service but it's also bad business and use of resources. Smh Problem is, their customer service is outsourced to India where they can barely speak English, offer only canned responses over and over and are not empowered to do anything. The moral of the story is this, if you want a good laptop, buy an Apple - that's what I just did yesterday. It was an expensive lesson to learn but Dell will never get my business again! Read more
Setup was easy and helpful. Connected to my wifi network instantly. Speed is acceptable, battery life is just okay. Downloading and installing additional apps/programs went smoothly. Overall this laptop is great for home use. Read more
