Amazon invited me to review this as part of the Vine program. I admit that I ordered this for the tools. A worker I am using has a set of these he uses for cleaning, lifting, picking, and so forth--but not in his mouth, and I wanted some too. Personally I would prefer to leave tools that are harder than the enamel on my teeth in the hands of professional dental hygienists and dentists, but I certainly don't mind using such tools on almost anything in the home, garage, or shop, including bearings, tile grout, and cracks and seams of many kinds. That said, this is a nice set of tools in a convenient little pack, and it comes with a box of those tooth whitening strips that I will hand off to someone else in the family that has time for that while I just keep brushing my teeth like a good boy and going to the dentist a little less often than they recommend. So don't shame me, I am quite glad to get this set of stainless steel picks in various shapes for reaching around and into tiny places. Read more

I used to have a very sturdy set of stainless steel teeth cleaning tools and have been looking for a good replacement for those. I was hoping that these would do the trick, but sadly, they're just not quite up to the same standard. While they do an okay job of cleaning, they lack the weight of true professional tools, feeling that they might bend if not handled gently. I do like the included case, which is a nice addition and keeps the kit together and in a safe place. The mirror works well and seems to be built a bit better than the other tools. This kit comes with a pack of whitening strips as a bit of a bonus. They are easy to use, although I did have a bit of an issue keeping them on my teeth. The top film worked better than the bottom, which is a weird shape and wanted to slip around in my mouth. They have a slight mint taste, and the results after the first treatment are noticeable, but not extreme. I had no issues with sensitivity, so they are fine, but not great. Ultimately, this is not the professional quality kit I wanted. If you're not expecting these to be a true heavy-duty cleaning set, then they are fine for the price. I am impressed with this kit for cleaning and whitening teeth. The tools that came with the kit are high quality. The kit comes with the common instruments that the hygienist uses to clean teeth. The tools are stored in a quality zipped container. In addition, this kit comes with 14 whitening strips (top and bottom). I wore them for 30 minutes per instructions. The stickers stayed on well and were easy to apply. I made sure all the bubbles were worked out. The gel had a minty flavor and was not unpleasant. Rinsing after removal was a little difficult as the gel adhered to the teeth well. I had no sensitivity, and I noticed my teeth were whiter with my first use. Read more

The dental cleaning tools aren't bad in this set, and if it weren't for the inclusion of the whitening strips, I would have no noteworthy issue with the product. The strips, however, were an absolute nightmare to use. They were falling apart with the adhesive partially dissolved right out of the package. I regret attempting to adhere them to my teeth at all, because not only did the different layers of the strips separate into a gooey mess, but it was dreadfully difficult to remove the glue from my teeth. I suggest investing the money in Crest if you're wanting to try at-home teeth whitening. I've never had such issues with the name brand. Read more

I drink coffee daily and I used to be a smoker so I have some stains on my teeth I’ve been working on removing. This is a nice little set for putting in the extra effort to do that. I like the little case it comes in. It is compact so it won’t take up a bunch of space and has those little holders for each tool. I also like that it comes with the whitening strips. We’ll see if they end up being effective, but for now I’m happy with this set. Read more

I'm gonna be honest with you and say that I did not get this dental cleaning kit for any dental cleaning purposes as for what I already have one on hand, but two I need a small precision picking kit for detailing some of my projects in the garage or cleaning out items that have accumulated dirt and dust in them. This detailing kit has all the right tools, heavy duty, stainless steel teeth, as well as a small mirror and all the other accessories that are perfect for cleaning not just teeth but items and tools that you might have that got dirty overtime. In terms of dental cleaning yes you can totally clean your mouth with these, but you have to be very careful as they are very sharp and you can't damage or cut your own mouth using them. I think they have a great multi use for them and I am very happy with this kit. I didn't really need a whitening teeth care as I personally think those whitening strips are not good for you, but that's my own personal opinion. Read more
