I've been looking for an alternative to the discontinued Reach unwaxed unflavored that I used to use...have had no luck getting anything modern that's even close until I tried this...everything else is so thin and shreddy and cheap and have to double-up to get teeth clean. The Gorilla floss is waxed, and I don't like that about it, but otherwise it is very good. It is strong, thick, and cleans well. It does not shred. This is an excellent replacement floss for the old Glide formula. It easily slides between tight contacts as advertised. In about three months of use, I have never had a piece break on me. It is a little "harsher" than old Glide, in that the coefficient of friction is higher and it drags a bit more against your gums. However, I think it cleans better than the PFAS-based Glide and I was able to adjust to this without any bleeding in a few days of use. Piksters has sold this product in Australia and New Zealand for some time; I think they saw an opportunity to make a move on the floss market in the Americas with how unhappy consumers were with Oral-B's decision to replace the Glide formula with their old, terrible Satin Floss product. I would highly suggest buying this - at 240 meters, this will last you a while for a very reasonable price. OK first this product arrived late and I started a return since late products usually do not show for quite a time...It showed up about 5 days later and I am glad I got this! I have very tight teeth and I always shred floss in half at least once during a floss, but usually 2 times. I have tried all types of floss from regular nylon to bamboo and silk...Nothing could hack it...This stuff is EXCELLENT...I do not know what the heck it is made of, but my teeth have not cut it once and I have been using it daily for 3 weeks...I can not even break it after I floss. So if you are looking for a floss that hold up to shredding and breaking with your teeth, give this one a go, because it is by far the strongest floss I have ever used and I have used a bunch. I got tired of regular floss breaking and getting stuck between my teeth. This floss is truly unbreakable. It is waxed and goes easily between my teeth. I love it. It is pricey, but one canister should last almost a year. Read more

Used to Love Gore's Glide Floss but in the past years the quality has declined, it is almost guaranteed to shred or break when using. Leaving you with food and shredded floss between your teeth. My hygienist and I bonded over our shared disappointment in the quality of the product. Gorilla floss is my savior, its tough never breaks and is cost effective since I don't have to use excess to accommodate for breakage. I had been looking for an alternative to glide ever since they changed their formula and now feels like pure plastic. I love this floss it's very strong.. but it does seem somewhat inconsistent some pieces of floss will be thicker than others making it hard to fit in between tight teeth. Still the best alternative I've found and though the price seems steep, one roll has lasted me months. Read more

This floss is fantastic. My back teeth are very close to each other and with regular floss it would normally break when I would try to get in between the teeth. Gorilla floss works great and it gets between my teeth without breaking. Glad I found this stuff. Read more

I am completely impressed with this product! It is super strong, does not fray or break even when using between the tightest contacts where other string floss breaks almost every time.
