Dental Floss Holder Purple Orange Pink

After recently becoming a daily flosser (and swisher) and never having been good at using floss by itself wrapped around my fingers, I knew I needed a solution. Since floss picks do not yet appear to be recyclable, I needed a more sustainable option to keep the disposable plastic out of the landfills and off our shorelines. Years ago, I had one of these dental floss holders but was not flossing like I should so didn't fully appreciate it and couldn't find my old one. The instructions that come with these dental floss holders to wrap the floss are clear and easy to follow. This 3 pack of floss holders also came with 3 small rolls of floss which was a pleasant surprise. :) Three floss holders means you can share or keep 1 in your bathroom, 1 in your travel kit and 1 in your purse/backpack. These floss holders are a perfect size to fit an average mouth all the way to the back teeth. To replace the "pick" part of my favorite floss picks, I purchased a long handled stainless steel pick like dentists use. It took a short time to get used to, but is easy to use and as effective as the plastic floss pick. Since it is stainless steel, it is also easy to keep clean and sanitary in between uses. This product is super easy to use and has a better reach on teeth than the plastic picks. It is a great way to use whatever floss you love without destroying your fingers and is super sturdy. I love this product and will be using them for a loooonnnngggg time Read more

The floss does not stay tight while flossing my whole mouth so you have to resecure it half way through. It is great to not have to cut the blood circulation off in my fingers, be able to use less floss for each flossing, and not throw away so much plastic. Read more

My hands get really sweaty holding the floss to clean between my teeth. It was so uncomfortable and frustrating I just didn't bother. The holder makes flossing so much easier and my sweaty hands are only a problem when I have to put the floss on the holder. Read more

The headline says it all. Save your money, it's a garbage product. I wanted it to work so badly, as the concept is not terrible and reducing waste would be nice. But it doesn't work. I tried and it just doesn't work. I take my teeth very seriously, and was hoping to be more environmentally friendly by having these and just using my own floss, but these tools just don't work. I bought these for my 8 year old and 5 year old. They work great! I love that they don’t waste a long piece of floss every time they use it because they can just unravel it enough to where it is a new part of the floss each time and then cut off the excess they’ve used. The floss stays in place well, unlike another type I ordered off of amazon. We are so excited to be able to floss and not throw away all of the little flossers anymore. These will last a long time. I bought a set of these and one of them had a button break off (attached) within 3 months. While I don't think that this product is a game changer, in general, it works as it should. Pros + suitable alternative to disposable flosser + simple design means fewer things can go wrong + feels solid + in general, works as advertised + can use any floss Cons - buttons are not robust - the floss that comes with it is not good - it could have a better mechanism to hold the floss taunt While the design could be improved, compared to similar products on the market, it offers the best value in terms of balancing cost and usefulness.
