I would never use tools like these on my teeth. Ever. My dentist would kill me and I would probably hurt myself. But I jumped at the chance to get these and I'm so glad I did! These are PERFECT crafting tools for miniatures and resin projects, and that's what I'll be using them for. These are really nicely made metal tools. This is a nice set of stainless steel dental tools. The set includes a double ended Jacquette Sickle Scaler U15/30, a double ended Tarter Remover Scaler, a double ended Explorer #23/17, a London College Tweezer, and a double ended Dental Hollenback Wax Carver. It is a versatile set with several nice tools that can be conveniently used at home as needed and also has many other useful cases. The scalers and the carver have knurled handles to help maintain grip, the tweezers also have a textured handle. Workmanship seems very good, with a close inspection I only found a few imperfections including a rough area on the neck of the explorer and a slight misalignment of the screw in mirror, but none of this will affect the tools functionality. The product description pages states that the tools come with a carrying case, they did not, everything was packaged in plastic bags, no case was included. Overall I think it is a very good set for home use, I am not a dentist so I cannot comment on professional usage. Read more
