For the last few months, I’ve noticed my clippers getting dull and not making clean cuts. I ordered this "3-in-1 Professional Nail Clipper Set - Stainless Steel Large/Medium Flat-Edge Clippers with Built-in Nail File" by DEOU. I own a few other DEOU grooming products and have generally been impressed with their quality and feel. Out of the box, these clippers feel sturdy, durable, and high quality. While I can’t confirm they are stainless steel, they have the look and feel of it. The three pieces fit neatly in the box, and both clippers are easy to use. The cutting action is smooth and effortless, which makes trimming quick and easy. I also appreciate that the clippers are slightly larger than typical clippers, giving more control and making it easier to cut thicker nails. The cuts are clean and don’t require any additional filing. I haven’t tried the included glass file since I haven’t liked using similar files in the past. This set seems like it will last a long time. At the time of my order, it cost $40, which feels high unless you are a professional nail tech. I deducted one star for the price because there are other high-quality clippers available at a lower price. If the price drops, this could easily be a five-star product. Read more

I always thought “professional” nail clippers sounded like marketing, but these are noticeably better than the cheap ones everyone buys by default. They are larger, heavier, and much sharper. Sharp enough that you can cut a nail too short if you are not paying attention, so there is a bit of a learning curve. Build quality is solid. The metal feels durable, the action is smooth, and the finish looks nicer than I expected. The built-in file is fine for quick cleanup and the buffer actually works instead of feeling like an afterthought. Nothing here feels flimsy or disposable. They are not going to turn you into a pro, but they do cut cleaner and easier than the drugstore clippers. This is a very nice set of nail trimmers. I love the two different sizes and they are really heavy and great quality feeling and looking! They trim very well and are sharp. The file that comes with it is thick and does a nice job as well. This would be a great stocking stuffer for the holidays. I do feel like it’s a bit more expensive than I would have expected to spend on two nail cutters and a file BUT the quality is there so I don’t think I’ll need to replace these. Ever. Read more

This is an extremely giftable vanity kit that feel high quality and looks great I was pleasantly surprised with the presentation and also the sharpness of the nail clipper. The clippers are heavier than the average clipper. They cut nicely without tearing the nail, so they are sharp enough. I thought they were a little slippery when using, so I definitely would not use these after a shower if my hands are even a little bit wet. The glass file is a nice addition, I prefer glass files. Although they feel heavy duty, durable and high quality I personally can still not justify paying $39.99 for a pair of clippers, so for that reason (and the tad slippery feel) I had to knock this down to 4 stars.
