After prostate surgery, needed these to help with urinary incontinence until my bladder control returns. I use the night defense briefs because they are fitted and absorb a lot of urine. I stay dry and largely odor free until I am able to change them (usually many hours). I have not tried the daytime ones, but I wear the night ones during the day and the night. Read more

I have now tried 4 different incontinence underwear types and this "12hour" version of Depends remains the best of them. I also want to congratulate the Amazon person who chose to wrap this shipment in plastic instead of placing it in a big box. The plastic wrap is much easier for an 87 year old to dispose of. Going to give these 5 stars. They have consistently exceeded my expectations in various categories. Most notably in absorption volume and durability under saturation. They are fairly comfortable and surprisingly discreet under clothing. I find them incredibly effective for day use despite them being marketed as overnight. Tremendous boost to confidence for sitting in public, I have not had any issues under moderate usage, past that they do swell significantly as you would expect. Outperformed the fancy underwear looking type, real fit i think they are called. These are way better IMO just have the more conventional look and fit. Read more
These work great for my husband. We went on a cruise, and he wore these at bedtime. The bed and he stayed dry the whole night. It made for a smoother vacation, and he was not frustrated that he wet the bed. They fit him well and wicked away the moisture from his body. They were super absorbent and held in the urine. They are expensive but brought him peace of mind. Read more
I bought these for my senior dad who has dementia and some other issues. We were using the Depends Fresh Protection Max for the last few years, and those were leaking every single day. I thought I would give this Night Defense line a try. Although these claim to be more absorbent, they seem to me to absorb a similar amount of urine to the Fresh Protection Max, and they definitely leak just as much. Occasionally, the urine stays in the underwear, but most of the time his pants and the incontinence pad are soaked. I have yet to find an incontinence underwear that does not leak. That being said, depending on which is cheaper at the time, I'll hesitantly continue to buy these Night Defense underwear and the Fresh Protection Max until I find something better. Read more
