A very clean option for home dermaplaning

I bought these Cynamed single-use sterile dermaplaning blades after realizing that my supposedly "multi-use" store-bought blades were, in fact, both gross and dull. I really like that these come individually packaged, so they are high quality and sterile. The packages are easy to open, and the blades have an easily removable cover. They are easy to use and feel as well made as the ones typically sold in the drugstore. I honestly found them to be a little less smooth to glide than the ones in the drugstore, though, which was kind of odd. They are advertised as "butter blades," but I did not find them to slide as smoothly as butter. That said, despite a bit of friction when I used one, it did not leave cuts, razor rash, or any other sign of trouble. Certainly these blades are sharp which allows them to cleanly remove the hair with less chance of leaving a rash along the way. They are a good value for the cost, especially since they are not something I use every day. And I don't have to worry about a loose dermaplaning tool sitting around getting dusty and crusty. Over all, I would still recommend these, and maybe you just need extra oil or lubrication on your face when using them so that they work at peak performance. Read more
