This is a good kit. It has everything needed to perform dermaplaning cleanly. Of course this procedure is still best done by professionals but with education and cleanliness anyone can, really. The blades are sharp, easy to attach to the handle safely. The sharps container it comes with does a good job of handling the blades upon removal. It does an excellent job of removing dead skin and peach fuzz from the face. This really is far superior to those plastic razors people buy from local stores. Read more

The case is OK, but don't do what I did, and try to peel off the label. There's one on both sides like the product page shows, and it's a little bit There's a foam insert that is sort of attached so it doesn't fall out, that keeps the blade case and blade remover in place, but it seems like an afterthought. Honestly, since I damaged the case trying to remove the label, and since the foam isn't that great, I just tossed it. All the tools seem to be pretty good quality. The scalpel handle, hemostat and scissors all seem better than average quality from others that I have. The blades are sharp naturally, and the blade remover and container for used blades is useful. I haven't seen one designed for scalpel blades before. My only other observation is if you were to buy all these components separately, it might come in at a lower cost or comparable. You wouldn't get the case, and might not find a scalpel sharps case, but the rest of it can be found pretty easily. In other words, there doesn't seem to be any benefit to buying a kit price-wise. If you need a complete kit though and don't want to go through that hassle, it's good. But if you have a couple of these items already, I'd consider buying them individually, and this brand's store offers some of these or very similar. Read more

I was looking to purchase the disposable facial razors I’d been using for years, when I first saw this dermaplaning kit listed. But I wasn’t sure if I’d end up either slicing my face off, or just be too intimidated to give it a try. The previous razors I’d been using seemed to dull really quickly, & I realized they ended up costing more than what was included for this entire kit. I gathered my strength, & decided to give this set a try. I’m so glad I did! This kit includes everything you need to accomplish the perfect at home dermaplaning, all inside a zippered carrying case. There’s a set of scissors, a hemostat, a blade remover, as well as a blade handle, & a whopping 100-blades. These blades are stainless steel, & each one is individually sealed. This is huge, considering the amounts of bacteria present, as the last thing anyone needs is additional bacteria being transferred to your skin. The blades fit nicely onto the handle, & it moves effortlessly across my face, without any nicks or cuts. Just make sure to always move the blade in a downward motion. I am very confident that this will now be my new hair removal technique to tackle the dreaded peach fuzz, as well as dead skin. This kit makes attempting to do it yourselves so much easier than what I expected, as well as much more hygienic. It will take a long time to go through a hundred razors but that’s what this kit has. The case is good but I’m not super happy with the very conspicuous stickers on the front and back. Aside from that, this is great. There’s a handle, box of blades, a safe disposal box, hemostat & scissors. All of which fits nicely in a secure and compact case. It’s an excellent value overall.
