I have been thinking that leggings (as opposed to wider leg pants) would look great with several of my tops, so when I saw these, I had to try them. They look great on me! The have a snug fit, so they're almost like leggings on my legs, but at the top, they're regular pants with a zipper fly and button closure. My waist is usually about 37 inches, and the XL says the waist is 36", so be prepared for some stretch there. Fortunately they have belt loops because the waist is big on me. But with a belt, they're perfect. I'm going to order more. I'm 5'7" and 180 pounds, and I bought an XL. They come to the tops of my shoes (probably a 30-31" inseam), so I'll be washing them in cold water and not drying them because I don't want them to get any shorter. UPDATE: I have gained a little weight during the pandemic, so these pants are no longer loose in the waist, but they still fit, they are comfortable, and they still look great! I ordered another pair of the same color and size a couple of months later, and unfortunately, they are not the exact same pants. The second pair has the nice stretchy fabric, but the rise is lower on my stomach, and the waist is smaller. I can't really wear these, but it's too late to return or exchange them. Moral of the story: try on the pants when they arrive to be sure they fit, even if they're supposed to be a duplicate of the ones you already have. Read more

For the price, these pants really are not bad, but were somewhat disappointing. First of all, they were supposed to be high waisted. Not so. They are high hip height, but certainly not waisted. The fit was otherwise just fine — considering I bought a size larger than I normally would have based on the reviews I read before purchasing. That said, the fit was (except for waist) good. The other thing, though — they will come wrinkled, of course, from Amazon. No instruction tag, so I used a hot iron. MISTAKE!! After the fabric kringle, I read the very small label on the pants.
