1. SIZE: I bought both a 1X and a 2X. I am 5'6", 165 lbs, 40" bust. Both fit fine but I prefer the 2X to better fit my flabby, aging arms and I generally prefer a looser fit anyway. Therefore, the size chart shown is accurate based on bust size in inches. This sweater drapes beautifully and hits at below hip. 2. QUALITY: The sweater appears well-made and is very soft and comfortable. It looks just as shown in the pictures. The stitch pattern and openwork detailing adds interest and is lovely and feminine. This openwork pattern is delicate and beautiful but because it is delicate, IF you do not HANDWASH AS RECOMMENDED, I strongly recommend washing it inside a tight-mesh lingerie bag to prevent buttons and zippers snagging it. I have not yet washed my sweaters. (I purchased two so far and plan to select other colors as well. 3. STORY: A year ago my optometrist was wearing this sweater and I loved the look of it. She told me she got it at Amazon. I searched for it a couple of times under "pointelle sweater" and couldn't find it. This spring I was again at the office and she again was wearing the sweater, only in a different color. I told her I was trying to find it and she said to just search "cardigan." First thing’s first: these sizes are based on the norm so if you want it a bit loose all the way around then size up, at roughly 5’5 it’s about as long as a tunic and the sleeves fit: easily pulled up for 3/4th sleeves while still fitting well around upper arms. That being said, this cardi is THE perfect spring/summer/early fall essential. The cut is absolutely adorable with lattice work detailing and a flared waistline. The super soft thin fabric is dreamy: flattering and fitted in all the right places. It offers a good deal of stretch, the sleeves are pretty fitted and meant to be so if you’re looking for something plus size this may not be as loose as you’d expect based on the chart. I do like it except for a lack of pockets and I do fear the material will catch on something as it’s pretty thin; pay attention to those aspects when choosing this piece and you shouldn’t have any problems. Wash in cold water on delicate or hand wash and hang dry. I’ve seen no pilling or signs of wear but you’ll have to wash it pretty regularly if (like me) you pull the sleeves up often as they don’t take long to stretch out around the wrists. The 3XL fits about like a 10-12 relaxed; 14-16 if stretched thin. A bit pricey but exactly as pictured. I’ll absolutely be buying some more colors. Read more

I like this lightweight, black sweater. It's casual and can be dressed up also. The fabric is soft and it's comfortable to wear. It has a slight elasticity to it which is just enough to prevent it from feeling snug but not loose and sloppy. This sweater was a good purchase. I'm looking at the other colors also. So pretty! Based on recommendation I ordered my normal size Medium. It fit okay but I couldn't close the sweater or keep it over my chest. It kept falling back to the armpit area. It also came with markings on it and I couldn't tell if it was just deep wrinkles or if there was a run in the fabric. It wasn't horribly noticeable but I decided to the order a Large. The large definitely fit better & I was able to get it over my chest although there wasn't a noticeable difference in length. But the large came with the same markings but worse as you can see in pics of both sleeves. It was really noticeable. So although the large fit better I sent that one back. They also came with completely different tags. I'm contemplating ordering a 3rd one to see if that also has the markings. Overall I'm not impressed with the quality but it is a cute sweater and I like the color. Not sure how this will hold up after washing, it is thin. For reference I'm 5'2, 147 lbs. Read more

I bought exactly the same cardigan at Marshalls under the brand name "DREAMERS" many years ago and LOVED it. I wanted another one just like it, but I've had no luck until I saw this on Amazon. Not sure how those brand names work, but this one is under a different name yet exactly the same one. It's very soft and lightweight.
