This was purchased as a gift. The plastic is a little thinner than I would like but it seems sturdy. Had to put bricks in it to keep it from being blown away. It's a good size for cushions and the hydraulic lifts are a great help when putting items in or removing items. Perfect storage solution — is holding up beautifully through this heavy winter season I purchased this deck box in the summer to store my outdoor pillows, and it has done an excellent job from day one. Purchased this on prime day and now it’s only a few dollars more at daily price. Still a decent value. The good: it is large, reasonably priced, assembled very easily. Downside: while the packaging was completely intact, three of the 6 plastic wall panels were cracked/ broken. The cracks were only about 1 inch each and it would have been more trouble to return it. So I’ll live with it. Also, the wall strength is only adequate. While the description shows 2 adults sitting on the box, I would not put more than a child on it.
