Confusing Description for Contents

When I purchased this through Dewalt on Amazon I first noticed a problem with the description for the advertisement. It said "This is a baretool item - battery and charger sold separately. Includes: (1) DCE531 Pencil Vibrator, (2) 20V MAX* 4.0AH batteries, (1) Charger." So I started not to buy it through Amazon and buy it elsewhere online for the same price since even though I contacted the seller about the misguided description they never answered my inquiry. I wish now I had because I found it cheaper from a dependable seller I've bought from before. I could have saved about fifty dollars. The kit they shipped to me included the tool, 1 battery, and a charger. The add clearly says 2 batteries but it also clearly says bare tool only. So it was a gamble. I'll keep it at this point because I have concrete on order and need it tomorrow. These work good enough for pouring shall jobs like residential and small commercial footings or block cores. And they are handy because there is no long extension cord to drag around. This tool wouldn't work well enough on very deep footings like a pile cap under a commercial parking structure. I've poured some pile caps that were over twenty feet square and twelve feet deep so this type of tool would not handle that. But they do work well for what they are intended and I would recommend them. I don't know if the seller will correct the description to actually say what the kit really includes or if they will begin shipping just a bare tool without the batteries and charger. It seems like a bait and switch to say they will send two batteries and only send one. But that is better than sending a bare tool only. Read more
