The gun is solid and it heats well. Others state it goes through batteries.. well, yeah, you're heating a coil to produce hot air, that takes power. I got exactly what I expected.. a nice, portable heatgun that works well for shrink tube electrical connectors. Perfect, Good Quality and Value. Read more
Worthless
Absolutely worthless, a Bic lighter produces more heat. Why didn't DeWalt go with a more powerful gun? Like a 20V Flex. I tried to heat some 1/4" heat shrink tubing and after one minute, it still didn't shrink the tube. Returned it. Read more
