I’m so glad I purchased this shirt before my surgery! First of all it’s very comfortable! The material is soft and not too thick! . The pockets for the drains are perfect. They’re not too low or too high so I didn’t have to worry about rolling on them. This shirt has zippers on BOTH SIDES which made getting to the drains super easy. There’s also openings at the top right on the shoulders. It is durable and functions so well for what one needs after breast surgery. It’s worth much more than I paid. This perfect , well valued shirt must have been designed by a woman! I cannot rave and praise enough about how well this light weight and comfortable soft material shirt is made. These shirts look great and are the ideal design after having a mastectomy or other breast surgery. Having the inside pocket to hold the dram was extremely helpful and a smart way tor store the drain without getting in your way throughout the day. The different options on how you can put on the shirt, such as either opening the Velcro strips on the shoulders the side zippers or just the front zipper makes it easy and totally possible if there is no one to help. Also the sizing was true to size. I also found this shirt to be a great substitute for having to put on a gown at the doctor's office and at PT sessions when needing to examine or work on the chest area. The front zipper is easy access for the doctor and you. Overall, I have been recommending this shirt to many women facing a mastectomy or other breast surgery. Love. I got both the short sleeve and a long sleeve version of this top. My favorite post surgery item. Comfortable and soft fabric. Fits great. I am 200 lbs, 5'3" (18 pants, XL tops) and I purchased the XL size. Leaves room for drains without being tight at the hip - I had 4 and the pockets were perfect for them. I'm wearing the short sleeve for bed each night and its is comfortable enough for sleep. Wearing the long sleeve most days as it is cold where I live at this time of year. Easy to get on and take off. Zipper is smooth and doesn't bind. Get this and you will not regret it. My only recommendation for improvement would be satin lined pockets as the drain bulbs would slide in really easily. Read more

I would have given 5 stars because this really is a great shirt while recovering from mastectomy (or other surgeries). It fits well, easy to get on and off with limited movement of upper extremities. Front and side zippers with shoulder snaps - 2 inner pockets for surgical drains on each side. I bought two and one zipper fell apart during first wash, so I deducted a star. But otherwise - I have worn the other shirt frequently during recovery! Read more

Got this shirt for a cardio-thoracic procedure. Myself and the nurses loved this shirt for how functional it is. I had a drain that I went home with and having the little pocket for it to sit in made me forget I even had a drain at all. The front opening was also really nice as I didn’t have much range of movement but was still able to put this on by myself, and made the changing of my dressings nicer because I didn’t have to get fully bare-chested in front of another person to do it. Just had major surgery and this shirt has been wonderful. It has pockets to hold my drains securely. With side zippers for easy access. It also has easy release shoulder seams for easy access to shoulders or chest. The fabric is soft and doesn’t irritate my incisions or drain sites. Front zipper allows for easy on and off.
