I originally purchased a size 5 after reading reviews stating that they run small (I'm 5'3, 120lbs, 26" waist and 36" hips)... The 5 fits nice and comfy but are loose in the waist so I just wear a belt but I also purchased the 3 and they fit great. I wear them for work so I'll wear both depending on how I feel Read more

I needed a plain pant for work. Something I could put on that fit and was comfortable, and then spruce up with an interesting top. These pants were just the ticket. I'm 5'4" and 123lbs. I'm short-waisted and a bit round at the tummy with skinnier legs. I ordered a size 9 and the pants fit great just above my hips. They are too long on me, but I plan to hem them. They look just as described - plain, straight pants that fit nicely. The price was great and now I can wear something instead of jeans that I feel comfortable in. Read more

I'm 5'1" and 102 lbs with a 25.5 in waist. I usually wear size 1 in juniors and 00 in women. I decided to order a size larger based on the reviews. I got the pants in size 3 and they were too big. I did not have to unbutton the pants to put them on; they just slide right on. They were baggy on my thighs and the hem were about 4 inches too long. The quality is good. Higher quality than expected for that price. I am returning these and buying them in size 1. I would say they are true-to-size for a junior pants. I would recommend if you a woman and normally do not wear junior clothes, order a size up. Junior sizes are usually smaller. Read more

They are perfect for showing dairy cows. Easily washed even after your cow has rubbed all up and down your legs. They sit perfectly above your waist so that when you have to bend over 80 times to fill a kicked overwater bucket you are not showing everyone your butt. And the belt loops fit your shiny show belts. And buckles. Read more

I like Dickies pants and the low rise cut fits great, but this pair was marketed as βLow Ridersβ and theyβre anything but. The cut is above the waist. So, if youβre on the hunt for low rise dickies....keep looking! Read more

Was looking for a replacement for my old Dickies that I've had since way back when. Originally bought Dickies size 9 in WOMENS but had to return it--the difference between Womens in Juniors is in the leg. Womens has roomier thigh/calves room, whereas Juniors is more tight fitting. Waist/hip measurements are generally the same for both Womens and Juniors. My thighs are curvy but Womens Dickies felt baggy to me. Anyways, for Dickies JUNIOR, it has the following: - thick, sturdy, wrinkle and stain resistant canvas material. not so much the softer, almost "school uniform" material I had in my previous pants, or the typical black work slacks of waiters and the like would generally wear. more like, as some reviews have said, what mechanics or similar would wear: professional looking but tough enough for their job. - thighs are slimmer than Womens sizes. but waist is rather high, mid rise i believe. and there are now hip pockets (i only remember having two back pockets on my old ones) which are deep and tight but are rather odd and unflattering because it makes your hips look high and wide, and placing anything in there would make you have an odd bulge from your bladder/uterus basically :-) other than that, solid craftsmanship, but not exactly the work pants i'm looking for. I remember loving these pants to death in high school (2003ish) and they still live up to my expectations a decade later. I'm built like a young boy who skipped leg day, with a very small hip-to-waist ratio, small rump area, and less-than-womanly thighs (5'6 125 lbs), and these pants in a size 7 are absolutely heavenly. So, this review is for anyone who has been blessed with my red Handi-Snack stick type frame. These pants are not tight in the legs, but they are flattering and professional looking. The length is nice, but I think lengths are a subjective matter-- you could wear flats or heels with these and it would work fine. There is no "muffin topping", and these even ride a little low, and where many low-riding pants would display some residual womanly butt/back fat, these make your butt/back area look nice. If you are typically a size 5 in juniors (like me), ORDER UP A SIZE or else the waist will (probably) not fit comfortably. I'm assuming that the "order up a size" advice would apply to all sizes, unless you are absolutely sure of your Dickies size from previous experience. Read more

I was nervous about purchasing these pants because of the reviews about them being too small. Thanks to the reviews I ordered a size up in the khakis and they fit her perfectly. She originally wanted the skinny pants, which I am not a fan of. I convinced her to try the straight leg pants instead and she loves them and so do I! They compliment her body type very well and I am very pleased. This is my first time ordering Dickies and I wish I had known about them when she was in her first year in middle school. Read more
