The scale is OK. In order to get the measurements other than your weight, you'll need to download the App. The app works, with ads though. The way to make it ad free, is to go "VIP", which it's $9.99 per month if I am right. There are also semi-annual and annual subscription options that are cheaper. Unfortunately, there is no option to just turn off the ads. So, when I try to use the app to weight myself in the morning, the ads would display at the bottom as a little banner, with audio too! And it's impossible to close it, even though there is a 'x' in the banner, as it's way too small. I stop weighting myself in the morning because I don't want to wake my other other family members, and there is no inexpensive way to disable to ads. My suggestion to the manufacture and developers of the app would be to offer a cheap option, perhaps $3 or something like that, to have ads disabled forever w/o other features. (I don't need those VIP features.) I would gadfly pay that $3 so I can use the app to weight myself in the morning. (Yes, you can use the scale w/o the app, but you'll only get your weight.) So when I ordered this, it was $39.99. Now it’s $16.99—and only $8.50 with the coupon. For that price? Sure, why not. 🤪 To be fair, the scale itself is fine if you follow the directions: flat surface, with bare feet aligned on the sensors. It consistently reads a couple pounds higher than my other scale, but at least it’s consistent, which is oddly reassuring. But here’s the big glitch: the app. You must download “OKOK International” to access anything beyond weight. That includes body fat %, muscle %, metabolic age, hydration, and all the other fancy stats. Unfortunately, the app is clunky, buggy, and asks for a lot of permissions (standard these days, but still annoying). You also have to create an account. Eh. The deal breaker for me, however? Syncing with my Fitbit app is hit or miss. Some days it works, other days my data gets lost in the ether. There’s no obvious way to force a manual sync either, which makes tracking progress unreliable. This is the only app that syncs with Fitbit that has this problem. So if you want a scale that displays weight reliably and gives you a general vibe of body trends (with a side of buggy tech), this is a passable option—especially at the discounted price. But if you need seamless app integration or are serious about tracking your metrics, I’d suggest spending a little more on a brand with a better digital ecosystem. ✅ Pros: ● Consistently measures weight ● Offers a ton of data metrics (is it accurate?
