Perfect design but the material stinks of manufacturing chemicals. I left the bag outside for a day before using it, and after 12 hours in the case I can smell the chemicals on my controller and PS5. Note - This is the same problem with other cases of this design I’ve purchased. Over time the smell fades, but it is strong - especially if you are sensitive to smells. Read more

Excellent Travel case for PS5 Pro 2024

This is a well made travel case for your PS5 Pro 2024 model. It is a hard shell case much like your hardshell luggage. I can confirm that the PS5 Disc Edition and the PS5 Digital Edition which were released in 2020 will not fit in this case. You won’t even be able to modify this case tk make it fit as the width of the case is smaller than the width of the PS5 2020 Edition. I feel confident that this will protect my PS5 Pro for when I travel and I am in possession of this the whole time. I wouldn’t feel safe checking this in as luggage and allowing the airline to handle it properly. If you are looking for that type of case then you will want something made of hardwood or metal with thicker foam padding. This, I feel, is meant for safely taking yout PS5 Pro and controllers to your friends house, either walking or by car, but definitely not for checked baggage on an airplane. I would say it would be fine as a carry on item as long as its in your possession and you are able to dictate how its being handled. I hope that makes sense. Cheers! Read more
