I am not exxaggerating when I say that this alarm clock changed my life. Gone are the days when I was yanked out of my slumber by a loud and sudden alarm. There is no way I could have had a peaceful morning with the harsh beginning of my day because if the alarm were too soft I wouldn't wake up, but louder -- it felt like cold water being thrown on my face. Enter this magical number. First of all, it is gorgeous. The linen that it is made of looks like it came right out of a very high end boutique, the quality is just simply outstanding. It is super easy to use and set up took just a couple of minutes -- there are not a million buttons to contend with. For around $30 (November 2025) this is absolutely a bargain, amazing value for the money. I no longer experience anxiety as I wake up because this clock makes it such a gentle experience by starting out as a very gentle red light and slowly building to the full power. I have not used the white noises that are available as I typically don't need those, but the functionality of the light to wake up feels more like therapy. About 25 years ago, I had a sunrise alarm clock and this item made me remember everything I loved about it. I am NOT a morning person, so I'll take any help I can get. I have been known to turn off a blaring alarm out of instinct and fall right back asleep. This clock has so many great features to help you both fall asleep and wake up, I just wish it was easier to use. A friend introduced me to sleep sounds on a big name smart home speaker platform and I'm totally addicted. Problem is that the service requires that speaker and a working wifi connection, two things that aren't always possible. I'm all about the thunderstorm sounds and this is a good stand in. Sleep so much better when its on. Drowns out snoring and other annoying noises that keep you up. Wake up can be customized for brightness, alarm or no, duration, and light color. I find it much less jarring waking up with this clock vs. phone alarm. Base is very compact but the time is easily readable. Only thing, the functions of the clock are not obvious or intuitive when looking at the buttons. The manual is needed for now, but with time hopefully that is not the case. I have been using this sunrise alarm clock for a little while now and I really like it so far. The design is simple and clean, and the fabric texture on the outside gives it a nice warm look that fits well in a bedroom. The digital display is bright enough to read clearly but soft enough that it does not feel harsh when the room is dark, which I appreciate. The alarm sound is surprisingly calming and gentle. It doesn’t jump-scare me awake like a regular alarm. The gradual lighting effect makes waking up feel more natural and less stressful, especially early in the morning when I am trying to get out of bed. The night light feature is also nice, and the different color options create a relaxing mood. The controls are easy to understand and I was able to set everything up pretty quickly. I loved this sound machine/clock so much for like, 2 days. It was perfect. I've been trying out so many sound and light machines throughout the past couple years and this one hit the mark on everything. It was easy to set up the clock and setting up and using the rest of the features was practically self-explanatory; the changing of the lights and dimming and brightening them, all the different sounds and the volume, even the alarm clock feature. Plus, the color of the lights was vibrant! Unfortunately, I made the mistake of using it in my toddler's room and after one night, he climbed up to it, pulled it off the cord, was messing with it and spit on it right where the lights were supposed to be. I tried to dry it off but I'm pretty sure the damage had been done. After I plugged it back in, the lights were flickering. Everything else was working nicely so I just turned the lights off. By the next morning, the lights were working fine again. Fast forward to that night and I go to turn it on and the clock is out. It's just dark in that spot. What?? It was FINE for 24 hours after the spit incident and now it just decided to unalive itself? I'm so sad. I can't get it to come back on. ANYWAY! Moral of the story is, tape this device to the ceiling if you have toddlers. JK I might have to order another one, though... UPDATE: Sooo... The clock is fine. The dimmer just happened to be all the way down and it looked like it was off. :) I turned it up and it's fine. I feel stupid now. Wow! This product exceeded my expectations. It is identical to the advertisement. The back is a white color and the front is covered with a thin cream linen fabric. I am slightly concerned with the fabric getting dusty. The light fabric will need to be cleaned or dusted after a while. The clock construction is sturdy and doesn't feel flimsy. There are so many options with this product. You can customize different lights and different sounds. It also has a bluetooth and a sleep timer. The alarm clock can be used with the sunrise simulator or only sound or both at the same time. The included instructions are easy to understand. I did need to refer to the instructions multiple times when setting the clock up and for a few days after using to get familiar with all the options. You might want to keep the instructions handy for future needs. The display brightness is adjustable and can be used as a night light to light up the room. The numbers get really bright or can be turned off completely. This is a great clock for adults and young people. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product for value, quality, and price!! Read more
