Dirt Devil Simpli Stik Plus 3-in-1 Vacuum Cleaner Lightweight Bagless Ideal for Dorms Apartments and Other Small Spaces

This vacuum is light, easy to use and works great on tiles or hardwood floors. I would not recommend it for vacuuming carpet, as it does not have the suction power to clean most carpets. I removed all the carpet in my house and replaced it with Vinyl Plank flooring. I already had some hardwood floors as well. The vacuum I previously used for my carpets (Kirby), is too heavy and will scratch my new Luxury Vinyl flooring. It was difficult to sweep up the cat hair with a broom or the soft padded sweeper that I got with the flooring because the cat hair would just fly around in the air. I felt like I was just chasing cat hair all around with a broom. It seemed like it took forever to sweep all the floors in my house. I inherited this same model of Dirt Devil from my mom, so I tried using it with the new flooring, and it worked perfectly. I had been using it for over a year and the latch holding the dirt container broke. I think my mom had it for at least 5 years before me. When it broke, I looked to replace it and bought a Eureka stick vacuum that was slightly cheaper but had a swivel head that I thought would be easier to use. It sounded like a good idea, but when I used it to vacuum under the dining room table and chairs, trying to turn the vacuum head to fit between the chair legs was nearly impossible. The handle would swivel, but not the vacuum head, so I could not steer it where I wanted it to go. I sent returned it and ordered the Dirt Devil and I couldn't be happier. I vacuum twice a week to get up the cat hair and other dirt on the floor and I clean the filter every time because it picks up so much cat hair. I can vacuum all the floors in less than a quarter of the time it took to sweep all the floors, and it cleans much better than sweeping. Read more

As an alternative to a big bulky vacuum that may be hard for some people to handle this is a lightweight alternative. The ability to convert into a smaller handheld mini vac is very convenient. The only drawback is the inability to attach a crevice tip. Functionality, build quality are great for the money. Low noise level, cord length and appropriate suction power make it a very versatile vacuum. Very satisfied. Read more

The noise level hasn’t changed—this machine is loud. 2. Don’t let the sleek image fool you—it’s powerful. 3. Super easy to assemble. 4. Cleaning it is a breeze. 5. The bottom kept falling off, which drove me a little nuts… until I realized (post-purchase, of course) that sliding the roller into the grooves locks it in place—who knew? 6. Very ideal, ergonomic, light wt to access corners and narrow areas, suction is not bad at all. Interestingly, the wheels are consistent by themselves not included with a brush as other models. This model has no brush, which is ok it can be used to suction debris pretty awesome overall. Read more

I love this vacuum cleaner because it is a 2 in 1 corded stick. A regular and removable hand vacuum cleaner. It is great on hard floors,and is very light to carry around. It is easy to use in the car, because of the removable hand vacuum. It is not a big or very powerful vacuum, but it gets the job done, especially on the hard floors. Read more
