Hello All, The DIYDECAL Retro Brimless Skull Cap in Dark Green or Olive color is very well fabricated with quality materials. It is composed of 90% Cotton and 10% Polyester, probably the Interior lining of the skull cap itself. The skull cap has the word "Sports" embroidered in white thread on the front brim of the cap's exterior lining. It doesn't seem to be a brand name, just a category listing, I'm assuming. Unlike a baseball cap that has top ventilation holes, the skull cap doesn't have this feature. However, it has an excellent adjustment strap with a hidden compartment on the right rear side of the skull cap itself. For any extra protruding excess adjustment strapping available. The adjustment buckle is a metallic alloy, I would presume to be aluminum, and it's quite easy to snap it back and subsequently adjust the sizing strap. This hat didn’t survive it’a first cold machine wash and machine dry unfortunately, well the hat survived fine it just came out so much smaller that it no longer fits on my head even when adjusted. Putting aside the shrinking size and my growing concern I have an abnormally large head, the hat itself for me wouldn’t meet the acceptable quality level of something you might want to wear much. While it looks fine the comfort was never there, it’s made from a slightly rough feeling fabric that has no form support so it doesn’t feel great to wear, doesn’t stay on your head well and it doesn’t store well leaving a fold crease wrinkle when it’s not in use and flattens out. Even when I could adjust the hat to fit my head, it had to be on tight so the adjustability was not much conciliation either. The hat looks good on your head still, sporting this hat might get the same look points as a higher quality cap. I appreciate a skull cap design and you wouldn’t be able to see much of what I described if you weren’t wearing this hat yourself. The hat is also a surprisingly low price which may come as good budget choice however the savings wouldn’t be a value in my experience/opinion. It’s just too low quality to be a value purchase, it probably won’t last long and if it does my guess is that it wasn’t worn much due to its lack of comfort. I suggest it’s worth checking out higher quality caps in the $10-$15. Read more
