The scales seemed fine until I tried to determine accuracy by using 4 each of 10lb barbell weights. After calibrating per its instructions, (Tap the scales until they read 0.0 then wait until the display goes blank and then don't move it any while weighing) here are the readings I got. I weighed 195.3lbs two times in a row. With me holding the weights the weight was 236.3 (41lbs) 2 times in a row. The weights alone were 41lbs so that matches and it sure could be that the generic weights were each 10.25lbs heavy.) The concern was when I again weighed myself alone, I weighed 194.7 instead of 195.3. After re-calibrating the scales again, I still weighed 194.7. Read more

It display in kilograms, pounds, or stones. You can change the mode by pressing a button on the bottom side. It takes 2 AAA batteries (included), and it is auto on/off by stepping on or off. The LCD display is large and easy to read. I tested its accuracy against my other scale and it was within a tenth of a pound, so I'd say that's pretty accurate. Read more

This Glass Digital Bathroom Scale works as expected and includes a pair of batteries for immediate use. One can switch between pounds and kilograms on the digital readout with a simply push of a button hidden on the bottom side of the scale. The readout is not lighted and the character size is a little small so reading the weight value might require stepping off the scale once the weight is registered and bending down some to clearly see the weight value. This weight scale is pretty basic and works well. My son needed one in his bathroom, he's trying to GAIN weight! I ordered this one and it was packaged well and included the batteries the scale needed, I just had to put them in the scale. I like the look of the scale, it matches any bathroom colors and it's not too heavy to move around. I compared the weight read out to my current scale and they were exactly the same. Works great!
